But the bike you will see in this video, seems to be even older.
This is another beautiful machine, built by Old Empire Motorcycles, located in the United kingdom.

Cheguei a pensar inicialmente que seria um fio da luz que avisa quando os calços dos travões estão gastos, mas desisti logo da ideia, já que seria "muita fruta" numa moto deste género. Lol. Ao ver esta linda moto me lembrei anos atrás, em viagem pela Itália com minha esposa, da frase de um renomado apreciador de pizzas de Pádua em Vêneto: "Se quer conhecer a pizzaria, peça uma pizza de mozzarella". Penso que quanto menos aditivos, mais evidente se torna a essência da qualidade dos ingredientes, do conhecimento do pizzaiolo, etc.. Foi isso que pensei ao ver o trabalho primoroso e a qualidade das peças agregadas a essa "relativamente simples" moto feita por esses rapazes do UK, além do extremo bom gosto em tudo, da originalidade dos acabamentos em couro e da genial malinha central rs.. isso é uma prova incontestável ( e sutil ) do que são capazes. Apenas ainda não assimilei completamente essa "moda" das atuais café racers ( e isto inclui custom e demais customizações em geral ) de usar rodas e pneus de mesma bitola a frente e atrás, ainda não me caem natural ou coerente, lembrando o lendário Maximo Tamburini e outros tantos old schools, de que, "excetuando específicas circunstâncias, a forma deveria seguir a função". Quanto a esse evento, já chegou a um veredicto de qual das suas quatro motos você vai? Rsrsrs.. Inveja do pessoal de Portugal que poderá bater um bom papo sobre motos com você, tomando uma American IPA, daquelas bem maltadas e estupidamentes lupuladas de Cascade, Amarillo e Citra rsrs.. Abraço e até semana que vem.

Olá amigo. Gostei dessa perspectiva sobre pizzas. Por acaso costumo dizer o mesmo, mas sobre um bom bife. Se tiver molho, é porque a carne não será a melhor. Lol. Curiosamente, gosto de ver o mesmo tamanho dos pneus nas 2 rodas, mas só em algumas motos . Depende do carácter que se pretende para projecto. Mas tudo são apenas gostos, e por isso é normal que variem sempre. Estou a ver que você é um Seguidor muito atento. Como soube que tenho 4 motos? Por acaso vou na minha preferida. A Honda CB 125, assim posso "picar" com o meu amigo Francisco que vai na CL 125 dele. Não sei se vamos ter tempo para uma cerveja, mas café vai ter de certeza. :) Um abraço.

When a motorcycle model such as the venerable SR 400 and SR 500 has been for so long in production, is thought that something important must have achieve, to have a life span of almost 40 years. Perhaps what’s involved from the beginning was simplicity of function and nostalgia, two magic concepts for good design. The SR in fact is a much smaller Yamaha XS650 which is influenced by the Hosk DB 500twin also a Japanese brand of the 50’s and powered by an enduro engine from the Yamaha XT 500. Not bad for a bike aimed for today Café Racer lovers! With all that in mind what is achieve in this design is beyond perfection, with a bike so widespread that is use for Café Racers, has become a common place for repeat numerous design clichés. To me the focal point of the bike is the front light, with that retro look that reminds me the elegant design of the Art Deco era. So much for nostalgia! It is the first thing that bewitches me, to the point to not paying much attention for the use of electronic ignition, fuel injection and disk brakes. To me the new school of Café Racer design is far beyond from to clone the old Rockers bikes, to search for new paths such as this sleek, smooth, glossy and beautiful design! Bravo, bravisimo!

Somehow yes, but the overall looks I think exceeds the other minor details that I had just mention. Great bike still! Except for the initial price of the Yamaha SR 400, but this design can influence others with lesser expensive bikes and lesser displacement.

Já estava com saudades. Uma bela de uma mota, apenas acho que se metessem um proteção (vidro) como nas novas yamahas ficasse melhor, é só mesmo essa parte da proteção e também da luz (acho muito apontada para baixo) de resto muito bom especialmente aquela bolsa ali, está perfeita, mesmo como eu gosto de ver.
