Grande Vitor, e sua incansável paixão em garimpar, avaliar e nos presentear quinzenalmente, já a tantos anos, com essas obras de arte. Não sei se existe alguma entidade/organização oficial sobre cafe racers, mas você mais do que merecia um reconhecimento mundial por tudo que já fez pelas motos customizadas. Acho que já te falei isso uma vez mas, diferente de outros veículos que também apresentam grandes motos, a qualidade da análise e a forma requintada e apaixonada de tratar essas customizações ( em minha opinião a única forma justa de tratar tais projetos ) é o que confere a verdadeira grandeza ao seu trabalho: mais do que conhecimento ou entretenimento, temos em seus vídeos INSPIRAÇÃO.. tenha certeza: seus vídeos geram reflexões, sensações, alteram de alguma forma as sextas feiras de muitos. Sobre o top ten desse ano, como sempre, meu pódio pessoal difere do eleito democraticamente, incluindo também a ordem de classificação.. mas isso já não me espanta mais 😄 apesar de que, mais uma vez tenho a plena convicção, por varias razões, que o vídeo de recapitulação do top10 de fim de ano é da mais alta importância, diria mesmo essencial, para o canal. No mais, vamos para o quê, o décimo ano de cafe racer? Espero que continue com saúde, inspiração e paixão para mais outros dez anos amigo.. ótimo fim de semana.

Mas de certa forma, já me sinto muito grato por ter conseguido criar o maior canal do youtube dedicado a cafe racers. Você é bastante perspicaz. Esta é realmente a décima eleição do Top 10. Já pensei em fazer uma eleição para o Top 10 das melhores cafe racers de sempre. Acho que seria bastante interessante ver não só qual o projecto vencedor, mas também uma boa forma de comparar e ver a evolução das cafe racers ao longo destes 10 anos. Muito provavelmente, e infelizmente, não acredito que este canal dure mais 10 anos. Pelo menos com o actual formato. Mas também não sei se o próprio KZbin irá durar tanto, já que começo a ver alguns sinais de abrandamento nas visualizações, e também o envelhecimento do público, cujos gostos/hábitos irão mudar com o tempo. Ótima a ideia do Top 10 das melhores de sempre, de imediato visualizei uma espécie de retrospectiva de todas as edições: seria muito interessante também uma contextualização de cada pódio, culminando com a grande vencedora daquele ano, porém isso talvez resultaria em um vídeo um pouco mais longo que o usual, mas que seria plenamente justificável, dado o nível do conteúdo né.. de qualquer forma vai ficar legal. Quanto as suas conjecturas para o futuro do canal e do youtube, é uma visão pertinente, a sociedade vem mudando rapidamente, mas também acredito que esse tipo de conteúdo, de alguma forma, será sempre consumido.. como você falou: talvez seja só uma questão de adequação de formato, de acordo com os novos tempos. 😊👍

@robinsonpeixoto8521 Obrigado amigo pelo feedback. Tenho pensado em incluir na eleição apenas as 2 melhores motos de cada ano, o que daria o total de 20 candidatos como já é habitual. Mas depois pensei no inevitável. E se no final ganhasse uma moto que havia ficado em segundo lugar nas eleições anteriores? Seria algo estranho. Mas por outro lado, como actualmente o publico é diferente, acabaria por se justificar devido os gostos diferentes do passado. Em relação futuro do KZbin, ouvi um grande Empresário dizer à vários anos atrás, que era quase impossível uma empresa sobreviver mais que 50 anos com a mesma actividade/produtos. Pessoalmente, acho que na Internet isso também é verdade. Mas em vez de durar 50 anos, será provavelmente 10. Basta olhar para o que é o Facebook hoje, e o que era há 10 anos. Vamos ver o que o Futuro dirá sobre isto. :) Um grande abraço

Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. I understand what your said. Unfortunately, british bikes from the 60's or 70's, and now very rare, and too valuable to use them on a cafe racer project. But the purist vision about what a real Cafe Racer has to be(or was), is not accepted by everyone. I already talked about this matter in other videos. Personaly, I think nowadays the original purpose of old/new motorcycles customized like the original Cafe Racers, does not make sense anymore. If we follow the pure perspective of those Cafe Racers, we would end with something similar to a modern Yamaha R1. And this means that this rebirth of the "cafe racer" scene, must have a different approach. :) But thank you for sharing your perspective. :) Salute

Well they are all amazing bikes for sure! Did I expect that lovely K series to be number 1? No! (Personally I feel the wheel base looks too long, but that could be an optical illusion as it's got a monoshock rear end) I must admit I do like the look of the "racing wet" tyres rather than the knobbly tyres that tend to be so fashionable (I think I have made known my feelings on this trend before ... once or twice)!! As always I am in awe of all of the builders and I wish I had the skills (and equipment) that they have, probably in their little finger nail compared to mine. Racer TV (Victor) YOU need to be praised for all of the work you do to make this such a fantastic channel. (I even like the improved voice!) You cater for all styles of Café Racer from the classic, through the neo-classic, to the modern and Yes, beyond with some futuristic looking bikes as well. You do a terrific job keeping us all happy and able to discuss and talk about our love of these bikes!! And as always, Yes you will see me on the next video! L&R From Australia

A minha “motorizada” (Suzuki 250 GN), està completamente alterada ; ) Vou ter problemas no futuro ?, Inspeçôes…isto vai acontecer ? Como posso resolver este problema ?, existem peças e acessorios legais para transformar uma mota ?, Onde ? Cumprimentos

Olá Amigo. Obrigado amigo pelo simpático comentário. Aqui vai uma resposta que já escrevi a alguém que me perguntou sobre a situação das Inspecções a motas. A questão da legalidade será sempre algo difícil de compatibilizar a 100% com as cafe racers.Tudo depende também do tipo de projecto Café Racer que se pretende. Sinceramente, acredito que se uma mota cafe racer tiver todos os faróis, espelhos, piscas, guarda lamas, e um escape que não seja livre, não vejo quaisquer razões para haver problemas quer com a policia quer nas Futuras inspecções periódicas. E esta ultima será também a grande questão. Acho que é perfeitamente possível passar 1 cafe racer na inspecção, mas na maioria dos casos, será necessário alterar pelo menos os escapes, guarda-lamas(se não os tiver), e espelho(Depende do tamanho). Por isso é que recomendo sempre guardar as peças originais da mota, e utilizá-las só para passar na inspecção, ou para uma futura reconstrução para o estado original. Penso que se o futuro regulamento for semelhante ao das inspecções dos automóveis, a coisa não é assim tão difícil como a maioria das pessoas pensam. Temos que lembrar que uma inspecção periódica obrigatória, tem como objectivo verificar apenas os pontos base de segurança, tais como estado dos pneus,travões luzes, suspensão, gases de escape. Tudo o que for acima disso, já está enquadrado na homologação dos veículos, ou seja, só numa inspecção 'B' é que poderão eventualmente "pegar" pela falta da "originalidade" dos veículos. Mas mesmo assim, não acredito que os inspectores tenham acesso a esse tipo de informações detalhadas, muito menos quando se trata de motas mais antigas. De qualquer forma, não vejo razões para preocupação, já que só temos de garantir que a mota tem o mínimo de condições para passar na inspecção periódica, ou seja, pneus,travões, luzes, suspensão, e gases/ruído de escape. Abraço.

Funny how far the “Cafe Racer” has come. What once was “a single cylinder bike with everything striped and single seat, has come “full circle” wth number 1 being a BMW K-Series 6-cylinder….next up…a Goldwing or 1800cc 6-cylinder BMW…..

@M3ANDER Sorry, but you can't see things that way. It is like saying a real super car, has to be like the Lamborghini Miura. And why? Because it was the first super car in the world. And if has a V12 engine, then a Ferrari with a V8 engine, can't be considered a real super car. Can you now see where the problem is? :) Cheers.

Unlike the previous video, on this one, I think the tone of voice on this video, is almost identical to the old voice. Almost everyone approved this new upgrade on the old voice, confirming that it sounds way more realistic/natural, but still maintaining the charm of the old original voice. But really, what do you not like about the upgraded voice in this video?
