Looks like a circular stretched watercolour block. Palette knife works well to separate sheets after painting 🥰

As artists we spend so much time alone in the studio, it’s fun to watch how other artists live. And to see other people enjoy paint and books like I do. Have a lovely Spring!

Hi Caro, thanks for this inspiring video. I had a few projects on this year and I had no time for art. To get back into it have been meditating and setting an intention for the day and doing doddles. Thanks for sharing what you do when you experience artist block.

I appreciate how much effort you put into your videos and that you care enough to take the time to include us all into your very special art practice. This was a calming one with so much of interest to see and take in. Your flowers at the end were very inspiring as I am in a bit of a need to rethink my current sketches. Thank you Caro.

This was such a lovely and inspiring video. I have been feeling really stuck and constantly feel intimidated to bring out my art supplies. The simplicity of the painting you did made it even more realistic when it comes to consistency over big complicated habits. Only recently I have discovered my rotring ink pens from my college days and made the connection how much more sustainable they are compared to the single use ones :)

You will need a pallet knife to remove the pages. The reasons they are glued together is because it is meant to be painted on as is, so the water paper doesn’t cockle. Thank you for sharing your lovely inspiration videos, art and life. Cheers!

Hi Caro! Fabulous art vlog as always. I have a question. I've been listening to various different bruja's online talk about crystals and how they carry different energies depending on which type it is. I'm thinking about using different types of crystals as art tools; paint application, scratching lines on surfaces, and so on. Do you have any experience working with crystal energies in your artwork? I noticed you had a green crystal holding down your sketchbook page when you were painting. :)
@Caro.Arevalo2 жыл бұрын
Hiii! I am not very knowledgeable on crystals, and the little collection I have is all made from gifts :)

Your paintings look so real. I have a question.....how do you keep your plants alive and have cats? I have lost many a plant to my cats; especially my calico June. I think she thinks it is her mission in life to destroy my plants. So I plant outside. On your chair that is falling apart. I have a chair I wrapped with used men's ties. Have a great weekend.
@Caro.Arevalo2 жыл бұрын
Both my cat friends have crossed the rainbow bridge 🤍 but when they where around they where not really into the plants! Whenever there was a very specific plant they'd like to chew (like my bromeliad) I'd make sure to put in high up where they couldn't chew on it :)
