Loved this. I have never before enjoyed and relaxed watching someone else do normal tasks! Folding the clothes, making tea, watching the tea leaves sink... Beautiful video. Helped me unwind and inspires me to slow down my busyness and try to have a new relationship to my relentless to do list. Beautiful for synching with winter. Thank you for the inspiration Caro xx

Hi! I haven’t watched the whole video yet (so I apologize if this isn’t relevant) but what you said about winter resonated with me. This is unsolicited advice, so it’s up to you to read it, welcome it or not (no hard feelings on my part). I grew up with the four seasons, right, and I was born in winter, so for me the cold, the snow, the ice, the winds are like a second nature, and my favorite season. What helps me go through it, is observing how the forest deals with winter. Birds fly away, bears go into deep sleep, the trees let go of their leaves to preserve energy, etc etc. Everything slows down, everything becomes quiet. So that’s what I do: I slow down, I become quiet, come back to myself and look inward. Along with that, I go outside as much as possible, dressing accordingly to the weather, and I try to witness the beauty in the stillness. Doing winter sports has also helped me and taking vitamin D as well (your skin naturally absorbs less from having less sun but also because the only part of your body exposed to the sun is your face). I’m sorry for the long comment and unsolicited advice, but I try my best to help others enjoy the winter time because it’s such a wonderful time and really worth stepping into. Much love ❄️❤️

I love the longer camera shot on the glass teapot. It underscores for me your slow, mindful arrival home. Arriving after a long trip used to be terrifying for me. My body was already there, but my soul was still hanging around somewhere in between. Today this "being in between" is rather interesting for me ... I sit there, listen to myself, the apartment, the garden and take a few more days. In my thoughts I send you comforting warmth in the form of a foot bath with honey, cream and rose.

On days when I feel unmotivated, sad, and just like giving up, I sometimes remember you and think fondly of the sweetnes you have brought into my life, and I hope it returns to you. There are no words to describe what remembering you does for me on days like that. Enjoyed this video and listening to you as I began a spontaneous new watercolor and drank an evening mugwort + ginkgo tea, doing a little manicure for myself. Thank you for showing that beautiful part with the tea infusing. It's true magic on video.

I love how you are so attuned to your body. Giving yourself permission to just be (and quieting that guilt inner voice). Coming from a different country (Morocco) than the one I reside in now (USA), I can totally relate to the 'slowly landing'. The Do-Do-Do, Busy-Busy-Busy, you're not worth much unless you are constantly doing something, schedules and such, of our western ("developed") societies is in such contrast to the slower and more meaningful pace of places like your native country or mine. Cheers, Caro!

This was a good video Caro. We all go through days like this, whether we miss our homelands, or where we live is our homeland. It is much more difficult for those of us who have family living ‘back home’ or who miss living on our own lands. The seasons in North America, especially the colder places are very difficult to get used to. But it is so normal for each and every person to feel down, to have less energy for periods of time. You have approached the feeling in the best possible way, to take it easy when you can, to nourish and cherish your body, mind and home and soon it will be Spring! But on a larger scale, the World is going through more challenges than ever before and we are feeling it. So on top of the normal feelings of up and down we have more worries and anxieties and responsibilities. Hope everyone watching your channel gives themselves a break and a hug! Looking forward to seeing more art and everyday life. Love that planet double page in your book. So magical! 🌟💕

Thank you so much for this video. I had so many plans for the beginning of the year. Things I wanted to learn and do yoga everyday. But It has not turned out that way. Thank you for everything that you said, mainly about how some days you do more and some days not as much. It really helped me to not be so hard on myself. Thank you! Gracias floriecita

So happy that you got to go back tp Peru finally! But I understand how sad and disorienting it is to go back to the "real world" after living in a dream for a month. By the way, my husband is Indian, I became a Hindu and have lived on and off in Indian for nearly 15 years... Just wanted to say that in India we NEVER do yoga on new and full moons (and definitely not while on our periods).. The Moon is the light that affects the mind and since yoga affects the mind it can lead to problems when done cumulatively... Also your period is a time when APANA VAYU is working to discharge blood from the body while yoga activates PRANA VAYU which moves energy UP to the third eye (so, opposite directions). Working on prana vayu when asana vayu is working hard to move blood out of the body can lead to serious health problems like endometriosis etc.. Also, a woman's period is a very sacred kind of sadhana (spiritual practice) and she need not do anything during that special time. It is literally God's GIFT to us women. So I hope that you are taking NM/FM and your own personal moon cycle days to rest!
