I wouldn’t feel too bad, you should feel confident that you will find your own path to wealth. Two people working only as an artist/bartender and an unpublished writer can’t make enough money to buy all the things they have in their videos, even before the KZbin/social media sales. Either Caro or Ivo are from a wealthy Peruvian family that supports them.

hi! it is from Jen's Pirate Booty, they are pricey but they used to do sales with their "deffective" clothing (this one has a ripped off piece, but it is minor) This may be TMI but, just in case: I don't support this brand anymore as, back in 2020 they pledged they'd include more BIPOC representation on their brand & models and 4 years have gone by and they haven't done it. I personally don't care if a brand works with models from one exclusive race, because it's their brand and they can do as they please, but if they come out pledging to be doing something and then they don't, then I am off the customers wagon.

@@sashapima4176and responding to sashapima4176: I wish this was the case but we aren't helped financially by our families. do you think every bartender in the world is financially supported by their families? a lot of them have families and are the bread winners of their families with kids, I know this from working in the industry so many years, and my husband still works in the industry. we honestly work our as$es off to support ourselves. we don't have health insurance, a home or kids because we can't afford them just yet! We are working tirelessly to make these happen. A lot of things I nowadas have come from doing partnerships with brands (for example, christy dawn dresses) not bc I buy them. My husband's parents rent the places where they live. my father in law rents A ROOM inside a home as that is the only thing he can afford, not even renting an apartmenr or house. I honestly get tired trying to "show myself" and show that we aren't helped by our families financially. thankfully, we are supported emotionally which is in my oppinion the most important part. we are doing well for ourselves because we put lots of love and effort into our works, we get lots of things second hand and have been growing slowly and we are "recurseros" a word in peruvian slang.

I personally stopped supporting them for now as last year during the George Floyd and black lives matter's protests they committed publicly to increasing their BIPOC representation thru their social media and website and I didn't see any change whatsoever a year after. Sorry I am maybe giving TMI now but anyhow, I believe that if they commit to something publicly it would be cool to see they actually do it and not only say it to be seen as "accountable"

Wow Caro this video was so beautiful and raw. Thank you. I relate and resonate so deeply with the fear and shame around singing and voice activation. I also didn’t sing for years, crying when witnessing the freedom of other women singing and sharing their beautiful voices and hearts. I started opening my voice after going through a very dark time and moving to Hawaii for a year. I lived in a yurt by myself in the mountains and started freeing myself. Since then I’ve been singing more and more. And I can’t wait to share my voice one day, just like you. It’s so healing.
