Cafes Restaurants Hotels In Pondicherry &Auroville

Today i'm taking you to Puducherry which is a marriage of FRance and India. Pondicherry is famous for it's colonial buildings, churches, temples and statues which, combined with the town planning and French style avenues in the old part of town, still preserve much of the colonial ambiance. Pondicherry has abundance of beautiful colonial style hotels and restaurants with lip smacking food. Here are a few of my favpurite stays and restaurants.
The first to begin with is Palais De Mahe. Huge doors, high sealings and the perfect touch of french architecture. Hotel Promenade on the Promenade has a beuatiful beach view. For someone like me who loves oceans and beaches this is the perfect choice.Cafes here have a french taste and I cannot keep a calorie check ;P Cafe Coromondal has a perfect French ambiance , Cafe De Arts is a cute cafe with instagrmable photo spots. La Villa, is a heritage home converted into a restaurant. La Duplex is a luxurious hotel and has amazing food too. La Cafe,is famous for its coffee. Maison Perumal, a heritage house converted into a hotel is perfect mix of Indo- French culture. acompletely eco friendly hotel and they do not use plastic at all! lets go to Auroville. Afsanah Guest house is a great choice if you want to stya in Auroville, it's charming, beautiful and very quite. The Quiet healing center in Auroville is another option if you wanna stay here. It has a beautiful sea view.All the food in Auroville is fresh from the farm and is delicious. The place is called Farm Solitude. Novana Kitchen, the Bibimbap is, which is a mmix and match with rice dish. Natuerllement garden cafe, it gives a forest cafe feel and all the fresh and green food is yummyy!! Tantos, famous for its Pizza's is worth it. If you are a pizza lover do not miss this place! Bread and chocolate is a must visit in Auroville! The best place to eat breakfast or lunch.That was all from Pondicherry and auroville. Do let me know your feedback and also what place do you want to see next?

Pondicherry is going to be my retirement city :) I was born around Pondicherry living in overseas for decades , every time i visit for holiday always search for good cafe bars and hotels but always ends in lousy place this video really helps me for my future holiday , i add all your places in my good map for future visit thanks lot

It's better to think before you make the retirement decision. Except the Cafes and bars I don't think the city has nothing much to offer. May be stinky unmaintained waste water ditches running either side of the roads and streets can be offered by Pondicherry these days.
