​@@random_gamer_6994 No that's not because it is theft of intellectual property and could even be a violation of copyright depending on the source material and if it is copyright protected (I doubt Granny is due to it being a small indie game, but still it is IP theft)... Although feel free to try to prove me wrong by providing specific examples of remakes that have been made without the original developers (or whoever holds the IP rights) permission.

If Microsoft really wanted to they could go after them, but they don't even bother because minecraft is so well known little crap knock-off like those aren't stealing any profits. Plus they don't try to call themselves "minecraft," but only hint at the fact that it's a blatant knock-off of the original. This game is nothing like that as it attempts to call itself a "remake" as if it is a "new & improved" version of the original Granny game. That could lead to someone who could only afford one or the other buying this one only to end up thinking it's trash (because it is) and then not even bother looking at the sequels when they might have otherwise if they played the true original granny game. I'm sure if the original dev could afford legal aid and were in a location that had a legal system that was easier to navigate they would probably make the effort to hold the creator of this "remake" accountable for IP theft and lost revenue caused by them misrepresenting their game as a "new & improved" granny "remake." So yeah... Try finding an example that's not an obviously illegal knock-off the original developer just doesn't bother to try to go after them and is specifically a remake of a game billing itself to be a "new & improved" version of the original that literally names the game "(Original game title) Remake."

@damegataco I don't know what's worse the fact your continuing this or the fact what I said was valid 1.your right Microsoft doesn't care and I don't see the dev caring much besides the fact it's 7 dollars to play 2.granny isn't copyrighted from my understanding meaning until a true copyright is placed on it its fair game besides charging money for it 3.the difference is most of the games are on mobile this ones on pc so besides the one official pc port that I'm not even sure cost money I don't think the devs losing out either way its still a scummy thing to do especially charging 7 dollars for a unoriginal game

The atmosphere and graphics are much more realistic and better compared to the original. But the Granny in this one is twisted and it doesn't look good. OG Granny is scarier and better. This one isn't even scary. It just has a twisted smile and is cringe(😂).

That's because it's a rip off from the original made by someone who stole the original devs IP and remade it with generic high-res unity (or whatever they used to make it) textures & assets that give it the illusion of looking nicer while in reality there's so many aspects to it that are worse... Such as fugly granny floating rather than actually having a walking animation.
