Zara Nelsova - Schumann Cello Concerto in A Minor, Op. 129

How is it that a great cellist like Zara Nelsova has so few views? Is the younger generation uninterested in hearing one of the all time greats?? I’d bet that many young cellist don’t even know her name... Sad.

She was indeed a great cellist. I am just happy I have been able to locate so many recordins of her with the advent of KZbin, etc.. She edited my International Edition of Prokofiev Sinfonia Concertante and one of my Cello Teachers, Eleanore Schoenfeld always spoke of her with such reverence and respect. A great musician, indeed.
