Wow… there’s so much about this that I love. The art and the art style is gorgeous and it reminds me a bit of a 90s type anime. I was thinking the same thing, I think I cried to this song a couple months back. Because it does make me feel sad, also happy at the same time, like “everything will be fine” type of way. I think that’s what makes me really love this song

My interpretation of the video in the song: The cat is in love with her owner, the boy, but of course he loves another human. The cat is heartbroken and jealous, crying and upset. She wishes she were human because then maybe she would be with the boy instead of his girlfriend. The cat goes with the couple to the beach, but was still unable to impress, even though she imagines herself as human. She then also realized that, even if she was human, her owner might still love the girlfriend over her (as can be seen by them kissing in the concert theme) The bit with the cat singing and dancing might relate to her wanting to have more attention/be noticed/liked. In the end she determines she has to be some kind of diety to really win the heart of her owner over, to be loved, or to show that she's better than the other girl perhaps. In the end the cat is snapped back into reality, realizing that both her owner and her boyfriend do love her, shown with the kiss. It isn't romantic in my interpretation, more the two just loving the cat both as a human to animal kinda way, though the cat doesn't take it like that

I relate to this so damn much, I’ve had someone I loved from the bottom of my heart so much it hurt, they’ve helped me so much and so did I for him. Recently we’ve stopped talking because it was hurting for me to talk to him(unrequited love can be quiet a pain) he’s aware of everything, so as my fear of not having him in my life anymore. I loved this one girl who I love wholeheartedly because she was the only person who was so invested on my life and the things I made, she saved my life many times and I saved hers so we immediately became close friends to lovers during our period of loss from people who hurt us. Due to some outside complications we ended it on a positive note but my feelings resurfaced later on, by then she was a different person and rejected my feelings with both of us wanting a different person from us at the time and this would lead to her treating me horribly and ghosting me many times before she would apologize and want to be friends and it repeat for two years..recently the last straw happened and I was tired of her for doing this despite being aware of her cycle and everything laid out to resolve our conflict but she refuses and tries putting the blame on me for it despite being the one to end and revive our connection. I’ve always tolerated her behavior and make up an excuse on understanding how she feels but all this time she just treats me lesser than a human being as I watch others get the privilege of being close to her while I’m the one whose tried advising her on her problems and helped fix them, this what I get in the long run. By that point I didn’t want her love rather be treated like a genuine human being from someone I considered a loved one but all I got was a silent betrayal.
