This is a beautiful piece of work, but my tip is that the bottom should be made into a drawer, so it's easy to clean. Also making the cage bigger wouldn't be much more expensive or time-consuming, but could mean a world for the birds.

You have to keep equal number of budgies in colony And equal number of male & female otherwise they will fight eachother, budgies can mate with other female budgie but never accept her eggs, female budgie have to take care of chicks alone and they through each other eggs out of matki even they kill each other,thats why always keep equal number of male female In colony else keep each pair seprate
