CAGR is just a rate just like interest rate. You can calculate that on various parameter. You can also calculate CAGR of your salary. That will tell how much your salary is growing every year. In terms of Stock Markets, Mostly CAGR is calculated on stock prices/portfolio price.

Hello Suraj, You cannot calculate it then. You always need to have a final/future value to calculate CAGR. Let's say you have 1L to invest and you want that to grow to 1.5L in 4 years. Then you can calculate the CAGR and invest in such asset classes, which can provide you that much returns
