Cahuilla Main on 88 YZ 250

This was my first dirtbike I begged my parents since I was 5 years old to have a dirtbike... I turned 18 moved out and got my first Yz250 1988 it was 24 years old with the original tires from Japanese factory and ate ass!!! from an old head who never rode it, no title ("couldn't find it") God that was a beautiful bike steel frame held you like your mother did 🥰 I threw the chain and broke the case broke the transmission Bought a new transmission and sold it😪 Never fixed it and never should have sold it Beautiful video thank you

Loved the midrange hit of the 88 YZ. One of the funnest 250s i ever rode.

Needs powerband adjusted I have one and it almost stays in the power band the whole way around the track. Massive speed

Did you guys install an on/off switch instead of a throttle? Love those old powerbands!!

Every time I twist the throttle, it starts down low and hits hard at the top, over and over again.

Thank you for posting. I really enjoyed the video. I had a 1988 Yamaha YZ250, sold it and have always regretted it in the worst way. Now this Wednesday I may be able to get another one (fingers crossed). kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnO9hINqgrynrrs
