What an interesting and vibrant district, just the kind I like, with a surprise around every corner. I haven't been for 10 years, so it was a real pleasure to be reintroduced to it. Well filmed footage too. Good to connect with you fellow walker.

Just got back from Egypt! Cairo is the most chaotic place that I've been to in my life, but I loved the historical sites.
@4KWorldWandering2 жыл бұрын
It really is one of the most chaotic places I've ever travelled. Full stop. However its a good time of the year (not as crazy hot as it is in the summer), and also -- there's just no other place like Cairo Egypt!

I'm physically exhausted just watching this. Haven't been in such chaotic environment for over a quarter century. I don't think I can cope with this after 20 mins. Imagine if we had footages of the interactions in markets from 4000 years ago. These clips are going to be invaluable when people would watch them a 1000 year from now. What's with the occasional burkas? I didn't know they were popular in Egypt! I guess Egypt still has a lot of Salafis.
@4KWorldWandering2 жыл бұрын
Right! I have wondered what AI imagery we will be able to render soon, and how we'll be able to take massive historical writings coupled with artwork of the era to create some blissful tours of those historic locations.

Not sure, they're currently trying to eradicate them, maybe in maadi

You have no idea about Egyptians and Muslims in particular. Muslims believe in Moses, Allah has mentioned Moses more than 200 times in the Quran. Muslims and Arabs' issue is not with the Jews it is only with Zionists.

Thanks Aussie, you couldn't be more correct. On the pilgrimage through Mount Sinai, I was joined with Arabs from around the world, Jews from Israel, and Christians from America all there to visit the shared spot Moses received the message from God. While the Qur'an doesn't place Joshua by name with Moses, it is believed that Yusha bin Nun (Joshua) was the "attendant" of Moses mentioned in the Quran before Moses meets Khidr.
