Cait Sith : - "This isn't good" : His prediction says that Aerith is going to die soon - "I can't say it" : Indeed he can't say it to Aerith because it's horrible. He turns around and has no choice but to answer Aerith's question lying: "The future looks bright, you're perfect for each other,...etc" We observe his strange behavior: he goes from a phase where he is dejected "This isn't good. I can't say it", to a phase where he has an overplayed joy so that Aerith does not suspect anything. He knows that his lie will hurt Tifa because he guessed his feelings for Cloud: "Poor Tifa". And, indeed, factually, his prediction was a lie: no great future at all, no bright stars and relationship between Cloud and Aerith, because Aerith unfortunately dies soon after. So I'm a little taken aback when some fans interpret this scene as positive or supporting the ship Aerith-Cloud. It's quite the opposite, it's a sad scene, and the events that follow show that Cait Sith's words were all wrong.

Why save her ?For me, Clerith, it's love through life and death . This is the suffering of the Cloud . This is a tragic love . Isn't that the whole point? How he wants to meet her after death, I think this will be shown even better in the remake . I am for the love of Clerith, but I think that her death is necessary. @@StygianStilettosGamer Did you dream something? Who deleted what? Clerith was only expanded in the remake. And it all ended with the song Hollow, which is about Cloud's feelings for Aerith . They even had a mini romantic moment at the end of the DLC on the way to Colm. If you think that the dream scene will somehow prevent Aerith from being interested in Cloud, then no . Firstly, because it was Aerith from the future , who just wanted Cloud to suffer less . This is not the same Aerith . Moreover, he didnt listen to her . The romance between Cloud and Aerith will be one of the main factors of the part 2, so that it will be better seen what she meant to Cloud .And to better show his suffering from her death . And if you think that Zack will be involved somehow, then forget it . First, as we know from the book canon, Aerith loved Cloud more than Zack . Secondly, I am sure that he will not be involved in most of the events of the sequel, as this will break the plot . And even if he does, it won't change anything at all .The relationship between Cloud and Aerith will not suffer in any case , because this is one of the biggest plot branches , and there is even a whole museum for them

The reason why Cait Sith said Cloud and Aerith's star matches Cloud's because Cloud is a Leo and Aerith is an Aquarius which are opposing signs (meaning they are 180 degrees apart from each other and are opposites) 💕 Although I am a Cloud and Tifa shipper, I feel like Cloud and Aerith have a special connection and the fact their star signs match like that shows they help each other grow.

I think if Aerith had survived , she and Cloud would have been together anyway . A lot of things indicate this , a lot of quotes from books , and even the developers said in interviews after the release of AC that Cloud and Tifa are very difficult to be together and they can hardly be together for a long time . Then he added , maybe Cloud and Aerith would have done it much better , who knows . (Maybe we 'll find out in the remake , but I think she 'll die again)

There is no death built up in a video game as well as this. I grew up watching my brothers play this game, but never cared for RPGs, so I've never played FF7. Once I did get into RPGs thanks to FF6 and Chrono Trigger, I played FF1-FF6, but that's where I stopped. There's almost this tragic nostalgia I have for FF7, it's like... it's hard to play. It touches me emotionally far too much

Cait Sith Just read that Aerith was going to die young and didn't want to hurt her feelings. So told her that her and cloud were perfect for each other as that what she asked. "The Poor Tifa" thing was just to make them stop asking. they asked again so Cait Lied Noties the exclamation marks at the end of all the sentences but when he says preacher he trails of"...." Preachers will speak at someone funeral talk about their life. "The thanks for believing in me and the This is the Final Farewell" was to Aerith. He afraid he won't see her again as she leaves for the city of the Ancients soon

@@queencard97 I have never denied that. Cloud and Aerith had Chemistry. I don't think it takes mental gymnastic to See that Cait is uncomfortable about the prediction. why. I think a darker shadow to this prediction makes it more heart wrenching. Like Cait not being able to tell Aerith that she was a falling or shooting star, destined to touch him and fade away as it crashed in to the planet. I like a tragic romance/stories, Star crossed lovers, but i don't think people should pine forever over (I feel Cloud and Aerith are a short lived Romance, based on two people who have lose, and issues to work through they could of been a good couple but never got the time. Cloud and Tifa, have just that time. they have shared memories and time work their way threw the issues, as well as a softer chemistry. I'd see Aerith as Romantic love,that had the possibility of Consummate. Tifa as Companionate love, that has the possibility of Consummate I personally prefer Companionate love over romantic)

I dunno about you but Cloud always wanted Aerith and that's just one of the reason why for 20+ years Cloud and Tifa being romantically together was never confirmed all because Cloud just cant move on romantically from Aerith. Tifa was the embodiment of Cloud's Failures in life, she reminds him of his grim past, while Aerith symbolized as a new beginning for him, for a brighter future hence why Cloud loves her. I know you know that Cloud would end up with Aerith if she didn't die. and no its not people who is pining on Aerith but Cloud himself, the whole Advent Children literally shows you this, that he wanted to be with Aerith, hence him thinking that when his dying of geostigma he chose Aerith's church as his final resting place, he sleeps right next to her flowerbed, he always seeks her in his lowest moments, that alone speaks volume on who he really loves and wanted to be with. and Tifa still being called a childhood friend is the biggest hint that Cloud can give to yall that he don't want any romantic relationship with her, he did not even stayed in 7th heaven in dirge of cerberus, he was out there looking for the promise land coz he knows Aerith is there, again proof on the literal ending of ff7 og. all you said, was all headcanon about consummate love etc, what i said are hard cold facts, you really just cant deny facts.
