Two things: 1. Now we know where the old NFL replacement officials went to. 2. Shame on her teammates for not coming to her defense. When Carter shoulder checked her, I expected someone to come over and hard foul Carter. That's what you expect with a superstar player. For example, if you hard foul Steph Curry, you know Draymond is coming after you. Love him or hate him, Draymond embraces that enforcer role and if you cheapshot Steph like that I'd bet Draymond would coming running up the court to do his best reenactment of choking Gobert.

Two things in the last couple days. First of all the outrageous Olympics decision, and the lame explanations that demonstrate only that the WNBA and Olympics hierarchs are either so clueless or so corrupt that they are incapable of making rational decisions that support the league and the players. Second is the game against the Mystics Saturday night when the Mystics switched venues from their 4,000 seat arena to the 20,000 seat NBA arena (not sure on the details) and the place was PACKED to the rafters. And did you see the close camera work of CC signing autographs? Who are these fans? Half of them are pre-teens and tweenies who are the future of the game. The comparable I immediately think of is Katelyn Tuohy, the generational high school cross NXN 3x winner and track phenom who dominated NCAA DI XC and track for a year and a half before going pro. Virtually every current prep star or newbie collegians who are asked, cite Katelyn as their inspiration. And what happened? Suddenly we have 16 and 17 year olds threatening 12+ year old Mary Cain high school track records. That is the House that Katelyn Built. USA Olympics and WNBA have a golden egg-laying goose in their midst, and they are either too risk-averse, corrupt or incompetent to understand the significance. Them's my two cents.

Caitlin just needs to hit them weights in the offseason, come back next season and lay that wood on somebody real good. Send a message. You got to be ruthless to be great.
