The other ladies of WNBA need to remember that Caitlin was so tremendous during her college career, (and even before), a lot of people followed her on her journey! Now she’s brought these fans with her. Plenty of great players in the WNBA, but she has brought a whole new level! The other players need to embrace that! It is great for them as well! I never even saw, much less was interested in WNBA until I accidentally came across her achievements! Now I can’t stop watching! Again, plenty of great players, and because of Caitlin I appreciate them all! Stay humble Caitlin! You are impressive! Thank you!

I hope as games progress, her 3 point shot settles down, because it’s so fun to watch her hit the big ones. BUT for me it’s equally fun to watch her speed in transition, her pinpoint passes and her creativity. And it’s fun to see this team finding its way to unity and cohesion.

Her talent is the truth, and it speaks for itself. some have that special gene & talent, some blossom in time,and others who may have to work harder to blossom, and here's my point, no matter the level of ones talent ,it steel must be worked on, and with that said, some bloom early and they just have that IT, but what what carries that special talent is the inner hunger to continue,and keep working and asking that all important question how can I get better, and also speak with those who have scaled to continue to progress and pushing as they grow and mature. Every now and then you'll come across that special one, no matter what they've achieved it isn't enough to just settle for that: Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Stepf Curry, Mike Jordan Dr. "J", and now Caitlin Clark. Real talent doesn't have a color! Larry Bird himself which quite a few people aren't aware of, and he stated this himself, that in his upbringing he played with mostly older Black players due to the proximity of where he grew up, He himself stated that most of this skill level came about when playing with the older black players that was in his neighborhood. So when it came to the NBA it came to him as NO surprize or big deal to him because of the black players that were in and around the neighborhood that he grew up in and he has stated himself that playing with the blacks is where he really appreciated and benefitted from his talents being sharpened and HE himself had not hesitating of speaking of how and where his game was shaped at! Where I was raised it was ALL about your ability to show your gaME, BASEBALL, BASKETBALL,FOOTBALL, TRACK, VOLLEYBALL, AND EVEN SOCCER. So what she's a white girl and I have NO problem with saying that! The question can, The girl can BALL! Beginning and end of question! So if she can, she's a winner and shes on my squad. Like the late great owner of the Oakland now L.A. Raiders Al Davis ALWAYS said, "just win baby". Good enough for Al Davis its good enough for ME and Caitlin Clark! Mr. Hop.... It ain't bragging when YOU can back it up!

So, at the 0:36 mark, when Boston takes 2 dribbles, collects herself and then goes up on the opposite side, that's still an assist? I remember when old timers thought the NBA was padding Stockton's assists since Malone would take one dribble on a pullup jumper.

Not to be too mean, but when you look at everything that Clark has done in the WNBA, from the record number of seats in every house, all of the sold-out houses, to moving games to bigger houses, to 1,000,000, 2,000,000 TV views, and how many rookie records, and doing this while playing on a weak team, and under a bad coach - Reese is getting all that she deserves. Bird and Magic pushed each other to be better and the NBA won on every level - the problem here is that Reese is not Magic and Clark is Bird.

@bertjones30106 ай бұрын
@@J.Sanity Yes, she is the ONLY rookie setting WNBA records, but I'm sure you can put together a narrative that minimizes any accomplishments setting records for the entire WNBA (not just rookies) by a rookie. We'll see at the end of the season who's name will be in the record books and for what reason. And yes, I think Clark will be in the record books for setting a WNBA record for all players. So any crowing you might be enjoying at the moment is hyperbole. Looking at a stat sheet is not math, just numbers. Someone leads that statistical category and everyone else doesn't.

Wow!!! Alot of persons have gone through alot to actually rig this game to make Caitlin Clark look good that night😅😅😅😅. It's so pathetic, bcus I watched the game, and I can lay out some obvious facts that made this game a rigged one. 1. Caitlin is good with assist but this time Aliyah Boston and others whom she assisted did not get the usual challenge from their opponent which would had made the assist a waste. But I will give CC the win in Assist. 2. She obviously did not contest those rebounds. It's almost like she was deliberately left under the rim to get the balls uncontested not even by her own teammates 3. Even if she would rebounds defensively, offensively would had been tough, bcus NYL still had their best players in court, and CC was getting those balls so easily it obvious they wanted her to get it 3. New York liberty has been bought by the same group of people in the WNBA who foolishly made it look like The chattered flight was because of CC 4. AR has been breaking records all week, it was imperative for those backing CC to give her a record as soon as possible or she may not even be on the discussion for ROTY, which may affect her stands as d most influential Rookie in the WNBA, which may reduce so called viewship I Promise you this, she will never have a consecutive triple double. She couldn't even get a consecutive double double talk more of breaking a record like AR has been doing 6. While I believe that she may in the future get another triple double, she will never get consecutive ones not even with the weakest team in the league. Finally, I urge WNBA not to tamper with ARs efforts. She fights for everything she got. If you want to rig for CC, go ahead, but don't rig against AR. She has fans out there and I am one of them.
