She made it sound like her record only showed up on google once Clark broke it. By her standards, it's not that nobody cares, it's that my HS basketball stats are "hidden" and "locked up" too or I'd be more famous also. The problem with the WNBA is it's filled with women of the WNBA.

I looked into this a bit. I believe the reason she’s calling it “hidden” is because she played in the AIAW era, before women’s basketball was governed by the NCAA. So, the NCAA doesn’t include her in their official records.

Griner is not that good! Big body that plays timid- and I have watched her miss A LOT of layups. I followed Britney Griner at Baylor. What a disappointment! She clearly was not a hard worker or team leader. Baylor should have won multiple championships, but Griner was too interested in skateboarding, breaking her wrist one year. Also, someone going to a Christian university when they want to explore their lesbian identity is just dumb. Griner is clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Her recent comments about Clark prove that.

This media effort (primarily by men) is astounding to me. Suddenly, they act like they know we have a WNBA. All because of Caitlin Clark. I love Caitlin Clark. I'm in full support of her. I love what she's doing for the game. But the truth is that we have had so many phenomenal players that could have been the ones to break this barrier. This is all about timing. We had to come this far and wait this long because well women aren't important. The majority of men do not think women are important they are primarily for one thing, and you know what that thing is. Yes, I went there. And the women that are these men's women don't like women either. It's funny like that. These women are competitors. It is healthy for them to do some trash-talking. They're allowed to have their own opinions. Diana spoke the truth it's a whole different game at a higher level. Lynette is correct as well they used to make us play with the men's ball and with all the men's rules and distances, etc. These things can't be disputed. Caitlin might have been fine with these conditions, but we will never know. I disagree with swoops about the extra year bullshit. But she didn't just trash talk her totally she simply said it's a new game in the WNBA verses college. When the narrator for this pitiful swoosh Nation video says the WNBA says that covid year was an advantage for Caitlin Clark or some such crap it's lying because it's saying the WNBA said that, no they didn't, some individual players had some opinions. Stop with this effort to tear women apart. People are entitled to opinions, but trying to get other people to hate each other and fight with each other for no reason isn't an opinion, and it's not constructive. Lexi Brown was not aiming a dig at Caitlin Clark. You guys really need to stop with your bullshit. She said the truth. All of a sudden we're recognizing women's basketball, all of a sudden since the WNBA has been there for 28 years, all of a sudden you guys realize that women can play, all of a sudden, all of a sudden, all of a sudden. Caitlin Clark is phenomenal, but it just goes to show you that you guys don't know anything about other WNBA players. Go on ahead and jump on the bandwagon and then try to start fights between the women. Go ahead, men, and your brainwashed sidekicks try to make women hate on women. This video is twisted. The facts are twisted. The whole thing is skewed deliberately.

I hate that some WNBA women are treating successful and talented women in the same way misogynist men do. Diminishing hard earned talents, belittling their potentials, casting shade on a person who is bringing such visibility and passion to women's basketball. Are they blind to how small and jealous this makes them look. Is being good a curse? If you do well, follow your heart, do your very best, is that a bad thing? It's Gene shaking the limb on Phineas. Its sad and disgusting. As a woman I am embarrassed by it. They need to get their act together now. They're doing more damage than she is doing good.

The WNBA deserves its place in last place as an unprofitable league. The Jealousy and pettiness of these woman is absurd and not just short sighted but completely ignorant. They are so angry that Clark is getting so much attention they can't see what her presence in that league will do for viewership. To the one that claimed she won't be playing much because woman won't just give up their starting positions for her is dumb. The team that will most likely take her with the #1 pick already has almost every Game to be televised. She will play every night and play a ton. The Team and League management understand what these petty players can't. Marketable Players bring in fans, And bring in advertising and TV deals. More advertising more Adds equals profits and more money for these ignorant fools. They should be rooting for her. Every damn one but instead they just hate on her. I plan on watching Caitlin Clark but damn these vile woman make it so damn hard to want to.

What naysayers don't seem to understand is that Caitlin did what she did at IOWA. Not a traditional powerhouse, not a school in a largely populated state with large cities to recruit from, not a school full of 5 stars where she was part of a dream team......she did it at IOWA and most of her success is what she created. There is not another player in the NCAA or the WNBA that would be able to do what Caitlin did (throw a whole team on your back and go to two consecutive title games). People can point to ring fingers all they want, but it's pretty damn easy to win championships when you are surrounded by the best players in the country. She didn't do that and damn near almost won the whole thing twice.

Caitlin is hated on by many I’ve seen sexism, racism, even by one of my favorites, Diana Tarasi I guess talk and smack but at the same time saying that she ain’t gonna be able to do that in the WNBA how do you know that Diana you’re up in age now? Do you really think you could stick that girl no, you can’t. She’s holding up to be your daughter. Reality is going to be all pro in her first year. I think some women in the WNBA are hating because she’s obviously not gay and it’s really sad. I mean that she’s not gay so what it’s all about the basketball to me let’s be honest WNBA needs her. I mean when I watch some of their games it’s pathetic the air balls, etc. this girl doesn’t shoot air balls. She knocks down threes from so far away. She’s been hated on people who don’t even know her stats racism, and things like that I never would’ve thought I’d ever see, it doesn’t matter Caitlin Clark will light it up

I dont even watch basketball...i just judging by numbers. Right now highest scorers in a single season wnba: taurasi, jewel lloyd, maya moore The highest by taurasi is 25 points, but her average points per game is 16. Levels...what levels? She's acting like there are cold killers on the court-they dont exist. Its not happening in mens basketball. Clark is popping shots and 3's without trying to find a spot, stopping, set up and shoot. Shes popping 3's on the run. Why wouldnt we wow that sht; CAUSE THERE'S no WOW in wnba players NOW. LEVELS have nothing to do with do you have the skill to take and make the shots...do you have the ability to compose yourself and comeback to win or improve in the second half? Iowa lost by 12 points, Clark scored 30 out of the 75, thats nearly half of the points scored. So iowa just needed 12 points made by other players to tie and maybe win that. Clark did her part with 30 and with everything else...she not going to do anything great? Taurasi's average points per game in COLLEGE IS 15 POINTS...her average ppg now is...15. Levels alright...given the data you stayed at the SAME level TF?

Clark is more than a perimeter shooter. Having her will be like having Magic and Bird in one person. And the jump to the WNBA is not as steep as some of these women make it appear. I’ll bet Dawn Staley and her Championship South Carolina squad could give some WNBA teams a run for their money. That was one talented college squad.

@@chrisfuller2069 That was an issue for sure. But Iowa had LITERALLY zero bench. Of a possible 160 minutes to be played by four of the starters, those four starters played a whopping 155 minutes. Four three players played all 40 minutes, with one of those players 4.2 Gabby Marshall. Iowa players, again LITERALLY could not contest any shots for fear of fouls, they couldn't exert at either end for fear of exhaustion and/or injury. Given just one average bench player to give Caitlin and Kate a few minutes rest, they may have taken the whole thing. And again, for the second straight season, Iowa fell victim to a team that shot an inordinately high percentage from the three point line. Basically Caitlin and Kate were playing on an otherwise junior high school level team that consisted of only 5 players. SC was the better team, but all things considered, Iowa pushed the envelope as far as humanly possible with the overall substandard roster with which they had to work.
