Clark should have lawyers looking into her contract with Nike, check what loopholes there might be for her getting out. Nike did that in bad faith, and they got her ridiculously cheap, for 8 years. 1. The refs didn’t call the foul. 2. The player was fearless in stabbing an opposing in the eye on national TV with cameras everywhere. 3. The playoff format didn’t allow the game to come back to Indiana, at all. 4. The WNBA had nothing to say about the foul, and thus far has done nothing to prevent any other player being injured due to long fingernail eye pokes in the future. [I would recommend short cut nails for all players, fair or real]

Most are vets and weirdo coaches that hate all young players. The racists like aja wilson are exposing themselves, clark isn't needed for that. The league is over 60% black. People like aja make fools of themselves when they talk about white priviledge. Just based on numbers, you could try to conclude a white person needs more talent to make it in the wnba than other groups. Other conclusions would not make sense. So either people can drop the race baiting or the narrative is going to be about how some black players are very racist.

I think the Nike contract will be voided. There may have been some issues that weren’t addressed during signing and those issues don’t align in Nike’s favor. There may have been a breach of contract when it came to releasing her own shoe and that’s why we aren’t seeing anything from them. Actually this may have already occurred and we’re just waiting for the announcement. Again, this is just speculation at this point but does seem to be heading in that direction. I can see that. With the apparent jealousies going on BUT she's being touted as the next MJ and her legacy, maybe it is already, should be how the WNBA was saved by her...the bigger picture. Even the WNBA doesn't see it. I'm beginning to think it's a 'tax write off for the NBA

I for one wouldn’t care if they turned to each other. They are great players on the court and generous off the court.

I may be way off but is the reason C.C. was so dismissed by Nike, the wnba and the players also regardless of her accomplishments. Because we are so focused on being woke or DEI and she is a straight white person. I don't know can someone give me another reason?

I don't quite understand the "she's changing the game line they all push. My dad was a hell of a pool player, and he drew me into the game, but as far as a great player entering the game and just by being a master at it, is not changing the game. My dad was a big Willie Mosconi fan, and it's said that you placed a quarter anywhere on the table, Willie could make any shot and when the que ball stopped, it would contact that quarter! That's not changing the game, That's playing position in a masterful fashion. So Caitlin is just playing the same game by the same rules, but she's just really good at it, and boy howdy, she's heading for greatness!

I think it's fine if Nike waits until after the playoff and finals to promote and see if they can leave room for some of the other women to shine. I think even Caitlin would want that.

I stopped watching the playoffs after Fever lost. I won't support any of these players and teams they play on for their willful disrespect and their jealous, racial hatred. I refuse to support any of them. If they can't behave like mature adult athletes, then their support will be a reflection of their nasty behavior.

The whole league is just nasty. They hate and bicker at one another like it’s 5th grade school yard ball. It’s no wonder they don’t get paid and their league sucks. They sick, their attitudes suck and CC came in and exposed all their incompetency, sub par playing and general pathetic sportsmanship. Your league is trash when a rookie comes in and smashes everyone’s career records in her first year on the court. Just trash

I get the wnba not wanting change. Once Katlin is gone the revenue will drop. Renting stadiums is expensive. Paying none basketball related staff is expensive it will probably kill the league doing revenue sharing. As we see that she isn’t in the playoffs nobody is watching now.

No National Championship. No playoffs win. She is a great player already. There's a lot that goes into contracts. Today you can be on fire and tomorrow not. There's no championship on her record. She showed up and showed out this year. Continue to support. Allow her to grow into a champion. Right now shes on vacation but the league goes on. She may be a great in season player, but a horrible playoffs team player where it matters the most. We need someone kind like her, but at the end needs to bring a full team atmosphere and win it all. If not she's just another good player with records, but not the record that matters most. Send the end Championships is what matters.

There is from Caitlin Clark Fever has now got 5 of the top ten players in WNBA From the team at the bottom with none caring backers to five of the TOP TEN players not just that the rest of the team are going through changes to step up and be the winners they all are. This includes the Coach that needed hope but got Caitlin in stead forcing the coach to step up her own mistakes and game. Mixing it with new players coming up the ranks the Fever is the new take over. WNBA should be using them each week fore playoff games in commentary and in with the fans should be the coach and one fever player then the finals with the coach and Caitlin Clark with them getting the audience going and signing autographs yes the coach too must do the same as her players. At the Moment the WNBA is losing its Views because they are NOT doing this.

@@markcapestro5390 Obviously Clark is the best single player in the league however Mitchel's worth a mention since she goes to battle defending CC not just on court as THE BEST DUO in the league but off court to media (especially black media) that spin the pettiest bs. CC plays for Indiana Fever not team Clark. That's 2 extra names in the starting 5.
