As her teammates get used to it I suppose TOs will decrease a bit. They already got that the first priority in transition is to put the ball in her hands. Big key to her assist success is her ball handling skill. She is excellent with both hands without looking at the ball or the defensive players. Not saying she isn't aware of the defense. She is good enough to keep the ball away from them without watching only them.

I'm always amazed at the things CC does. So much fun to watch. She doesn't look strong, she's not a big woman, height wise and weight wise but boy is she skilled! CC's passes are nearly always perfectly on her teammates hands. It puts them in a position to shoot without altering their direction. Plus, the best offense in basketball is beating the defense down court. Not only that, she understands the angles and spaces available to make those passes. When to bounce, laser, or loft it. She does need to get stronger on defense. She expends a lot of energy being the primary ball handler. But that will come because she is a tireless worker in practice. It's so fun to watch these clips. It's kind of like watching old videos of Bird. Larry Bird.

Damn, CC is one hell of an assist player. She can see the game point play the moment she takes one or two steps towards the goal. Great insight who always remains calm. Also the recipients of CC's passes are acutely aware and focused. If they weren't, CC's passes would be for not. CC is a tremendous show and is the real thing. She clearly has foresight in strategic moves on the court. This 72 year old man came to the WNBA b/c of CC and I will stay as long as the WNBA treats her with respect, not as a rookie but as a full-fleged, talented, basketball prodigy. Watching this reminds me of Wayne Gretzky. He played his sport at a level above all others. He was a potent and prolific goal scorer, but he was equally as good as a play maker. His career assists were double his career goals. Unselfish, knowing where every one was during play, being able to anticipate the flow of the game and opposition players and having trust in teammates to complete the plays. That is what I see in Caitlin Clark and it is amazing and beautiful to watch.

two or three months ago, I hadn't seen Caitlin Clark playin. I just heard opponents badmouthing her. She ain't got nuthin but a 3. Well, I've always liked watching women play basketball more than men and watching Clark's all-around brilliance has been thrilling. She's a play maker, she can muscle thru the paint, hit some amazing shots. Besides her step-back jump she's got an amazing fade away jump shot. I've seen her use a hook shot variation. This is why CC has so many turnovers.Eventually the opposition defense gets lucky and intercepts a pass.Her teammates are sometimes shocked in transition when the ball suddenly shows up and they are not ready.They don’t have the court vision that CC has and miss the catch.This is something the Fever has to continue to improve on.CC’s court presence is spectacular.

A lot of people wonder at her lack of rebounds. CC doesn't need to rebound she sets up the rest of the team under the basket. Then they can get the rebound, although they are so far ahead of the defense they just score, again no need to rebound. Mire smazing than the three pointers, which are amazing unto them selves.
