Exactly you got these other women talking about when they ask a question a new person to other WNBA players do you need a Chevy shoot to be the best to be great no you do not the only reason they saying that because they're in denial especially Diana Taurasi I was a rookie I went to the Olympics but they picked me because I want three national championships you didn't win them by yourself Clark took a team of nobody's or her shoulders back to back they lost okay but they were there

CC broke 62 records while being the most heavily guarded player in the league, she is the most exciting and explosive player I have ever in my 62 years watched, she is mesmerizing. She never gives up on a game because she makes the impossible possible, she is clutch in every moment you need her to show up in. She is a teamMAKER she makes every player around her better because she is unselfish with the ball, love her, love her playing style.

To compare Caitlin Clark to any WNBA player past or present is impossible. There's no one to compare her to. She's re establishing the standard of a WNBA player to a higher level. One has to excell to her level in order to beat her without resorting to flagrant fouls & dirty tactics. Caitlin Clark has already demonstrated the ability to make her teammates better players. Caitlin's teammates feed off the passion and intensity that she plays with. Clark's teammates are going to provide better protection for their leader this next coming season because they now know her value to the team and they know what to prepare for. Her teammates will most certainly have her back from the start of the game to the last second. Caitlin Clark's rookie season was merely scratching the surface. Her second season is going to be a historical ride for everyone. She's coming back with a vengance and they won't know how to stop her. 62 records by keeping her poise after being bullied, pushed around, knocked to the floor, and no rest. She's super phenomenal. I have seen all the greats play since Jerry West, and i can comfortably say that she is the greatest passer ever, WNBA AND NBA. She's earned her degree. She's more than just a great player. She's the pinnacle of greatness in its purest form. Well rested, Caitlin Clark will be putting them to shame in 2025, and I'm looking forward to it.

I don't say goat, because there's no way to compare players from the past, who were the best of their era. Cousy? Chamberlain? Russell? Maravich? Ben, i just stumbled into your webcast. Kudos! I watched Women college B Ball for many years, but never followed the WNBA, since to me it was a boring type of game. I did, very occasionally, watched girls that I liked in College, such as Sue Bird, Jackie Stiles (who until CC was my favorite player) or Napheesa Collier. CC changed all this. I have never felt any connection to a player as I feel for CC. Not since Larry Bird, David Robinson, and by extension, Tim Duncan 🙂.

Nicely done. Great analysis… Good players inspire others to improve their game while playing within the rules. Sadly, this dirty play will eventually injure, CC. … A good coach would bench a dirty player. A good commissioner would fine/suspend the dirty players. Good referees would call fouls, give warnings and removal. Perhaps, a legally incorporated CC fan club could file a petition with a Sports Commission. ‘They’ got away with dirty play the first season. ‘They’ will try again. It ruins the sport and hurts players. Referees can perform a pregame fingernail check-no nails to extend beyond the tip of the finger. CC’s cornea could have been scratched or worse. Sadly, a corrective action was not taken.

Honestly the lack of action regarding the refs and players who purposely physically hurt her infuriates me. How can u just sit there and pretend it’s not happening. Great display of sportsmanship all around 🤦🏻‍♀️

@heatherfaudel8397
@heatherfaudel8397 28 күн бұрын
@@_birdie agree 💯 not only did she not complain, she uplifted other players who were hating on her. Reminding the OGs that they were her idols growing up. Well, they’re all making fools of themselves, slamming her. The Way she ignored so much of the dissonance and just kept playing better. If you piss her off in a game, her game’s gonna speak to it. That’s why she’s a professional her game does all her talking. But she did have to call out some refs my lord . But at the same time that was the coaches job. The commissioner is a disaster and she loved all the dissonance all season and thought that’s why people would watch. I hope they get rid of her. And think about all the rookies that were injured and had to sit out the rest of the season and they didn’t even have people coming to try to hurt them every play of every game . That’s just a testament to how strong she keeps herself. And it also shows how freaking talented she is at the fundamentals of basketball. One of her games could be used as an example of what you’re trying to teach young basketball players. Lol it’s so exciting. Oh that that’s the push off and the jump shot , there’s the fade away shot, that’s how to create space for a shot…… that’s why you need to master your ball control…… that’s why it’s important to make a behind the back pass…… that’s why you need to understand all forms of passing and practice them until they’re muscle memory….. down the court quartback like passes haha dang. Behind the back passes in the clutch. Everything they teach about basketball fundamentals is legitimized in her game. And those coaches that try to get kids to make 1000 shots a day to be great as shown in her game. But it always takes the intrinsic motivation from a young player that decides to practice so hard they were born with a hunger for it. I’m so excited for White to be the coach because I think she can teach Kaitlyn a few things she hasn’t mastered and that’s so exciting!! Christie sides just wasn’t a champion top talent that can understand these players. She did a hell of a job uniting them as a team. That’s for sure but she can’t teach them what she hasn’t actually done. I’m so excited for this coming season

@@Benjaminyo24 for real bro. When Cheryl Reeve finally spoke against the refs was in the final game of the finals !!!! She made the statement that the refs need to have a third-party look at their decisions to be able to work off a replay. Because it hurt her team this time. And I’m not even sure if she was wrong. I didn’t really pay attention to it. But they need to get more consistent and understand what they are doing in their job and then they need to do it. I think all of those refs need to be fired. We need some NBA refs. Maybe women’s pro soccer refs LOL

The wigged, fake eyelashes, and fake fingernails player is Dijoinaise (sp?) Carrington. She's also Nalyssa Smith's girlfriend. Smith is a great player for the Fever except when they play the team that her girlfriend is on, I wish she'd get traded. Also Carrington is the one who gouged CC in the eye toward the end of the season. No foul called. My wish list for the coming season: her new coach has her back for the bad/no called fouls, the refs get the memo that the crap that happened on the court in 2024 will not be happening in 2025. CC is the WNBA golden goose, they had better treat her better. CC is going to come back in the new season with such focus and the 3 pointers will be falling like rain.

I believe that she was a little dissatisfied with Christie sides as a coach.. and maybe rightfully so because I’m not sure Christy sides knew what to do with the talent that she was faced with, and how to get them to all come to the top of their skills and play together . Anyway, so Smith is a little bummed out about that. She starts talking to her toxic girlfriend. Next thing you know Smith maybe fighting everybody on the team in her mind. Sad. I want us to snatch her back. Get rid of her Toxic girlfriend. And move on. But it’s gonna be a little bit messy if Carrington is still her wife or whatever and she’s playing for the fever. Carrington is going to have to be more professional than she knows how. Both of those women should understand that what they’re doing is ruining both of their careers. And oh my stars, don’t even get me started with the talon fingernails who in their right mind would play basketball with fingernails like that.?

Love seeing Caitlin highlights. Would love to see a video of her primary hater, yes Reese getting her own rebounds. That could be a long video. Perhaps after doing some of them you could do a best of Reese getting rebounds of her own missed shots.

Yeah, it's scary how amateur the refs are in the WNBA.. Even more terrifying that they are literally scared to call fouls when she's being assaulted (Yes, legit assaulted) , because they're so worried of people claiming favoritism when it's not!! She gets the s*** kicked out of her more than ANYONE in the W cuz no one wants to be her next highlight.. get better refs shittiest league in professional sports!!! I feel that's the least she deserves after single-handedly making people know the W actually even exists... I couldn't name one active player until last season (And I'm pretty sure I'm not alone here and that's a large percentage of people that watch now)

She could have had a third triple-double. Sides took her out of the game needing only one rebound in the third one and she never got that 10th rebound.

Doesn’t the WNBA have penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct like the NFL and NHL? Like when AR jumps off her seat to applaud the nasty play Carter performed by hip checking CC.

Exactly - With the kind of athlete like Bird, MJ, Kobe and so on the WORST thing you can do is provoke them, assault them, taunt them. You just fuel them, and get them stronger

If girls would stop playing against other girls while growing up, and start playing against guys, they, too, would have elevated skills like CC has. Simple.
