Reality is the management for the WNBA hasn't been able to handle it at anytime since it became a league. The very first televised game had 5 million viewers, every televised game on NBC that season had 2 million a game. They had talented players they failed to promote nationally and haven't done ever in its history to this day. Where are the commercials promoting the league and its stars. They had interested viewers who grew up on Pistol Pete, Bird, Magic, and Jordan. Who were just as happy to add great women players to that list. When they suggested lower the net, let the women dunk. They voted not to do it. Viewers got bored and they drifted away. 20 plus years later and along comes Clark and they are screwing it up again. Allowing Aja to spew crap at Kelsey Plum and any other player who doesn't look like her. Allowing head hunting of Clark, 27% of the leagues blatant fouls happening to Clark. Nothing like killing the golden goose. Trying to end her career early. Allowing talking heads like Swoops to claim Clark isnt deserving of her accolades and awards, that her records aren't valid or real. That 62 records set or broken in her first season isn't an amazing feat or accomplishment. Today instead of promoting Aja who is extremely talanted they have pushed Angel Reese a player more concerned about her long nails and fake eyelashes and how she looks while playing over a player who comes in scores effortlessly and sweats while playing. Like Arike, Satou, Aja, and Thomas. Their own commissioner and union don't promote the most skilled an electrifying players. No hype for Sabrina, Plum, Clark, Hull. Instead they push division and ignorance.

Her success comes from hard work and dedication. You can't learn this you have to earn this.

There are many good players who have achieve high level of success through hard work. CC certainly has put in the time and put in the hard work BUT, she has that something extra, a God given talent and an extra gear, that only once-in-a-generation athletes like Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Simone Biles, Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt possess...,

If you want to recognize the players who come before you why single out players by race. Once more someone is making a statement that race is the distinguishing factor. By saying black women carried this league, which are 80-% of the league. What about the other 20%, we forget them because they are not black. I want to recognize everyone connected to the league, from players to janitors. All of these People played there role to make this league what it is today.l. Thank you. I
