The WNBA betrayed Caitlin first. Instead of embracing this once in a generation player they acted like they resented her. Playing in an LPGA event she was embraced by the organizers and the golphers attending the event. The LPGA realized immediately what a unique and special generational athlete Caitlin is and the seized the opportunity . The same cannot be said of the WNBA which continues to disparage this special young woman. Cathy Englebrite has no business being commissioner of a league that continually turns its back on the opportunities to embrace this young phenom It's people like Cathy and Sheila Johnson that will eventually destroy this league. Their kneeling to the Queen of Mean (Aja Wilson) and their chosen one (Angel Reese) will never bring them the returns they think it will.

Clark simply played in a couple of Pro Am events not an LPGA tournament. Pro AM events are pre tournament events to allow celebrities and other notable persons a chance to play with the professional golfers generally by invitation. Clark possibly could sign a contract to promote the LPGA but not as a qualified LPGA professional.
