Caitlin Clark is, obviously, a generational talent. Before learning about her, I couldn't have cared less about the women's championship tournament, but, because of her, I watched every minute of the finals. While she is a total class act off the court, I do hope, in the future, she starts to tone down the, on court, chest thumping and Jordan shrugging. I understand the high emotions experienced during a game, but I think her appeal would multiply, even more, if she started acting more like Barry Sanders. He knew he was great. We knew he was great. No need to point it out.

Iowa ran into smarter and harder working girls. LSU knew that Caitlin Clark basically is a one trick pony who shoots as soon as she gets open, regardless of range. If she is challenged, then she has to run around a pick to shoot from an open spot. However, by getting to her shooting spot first, you completely emasculate Clark. She cannot create her own shot, and so on repeated occasions she fouled. Two of those fouls were called, and so humbled Caitlin into defeat. The arrogant, derisive and taunting Clark was exposed.

The difference is that Caitlin is a sniper, where as Hailey is a fighter. Between the two, Hailey will be a great point guard in the NBA, Caitlin will be another Reggie Miller or Ray Allen... The nearest to Kyrie Irving is Hailey van Lith.
