Yay welcome back and thank you for reacting to MONSTA X again! There are speculations that the structure of the song was made to mimic that of gaslighting hence Kihyun's pre-chorus didn't transition to the chorus and instead was intercepted by Jooheon's rap, similar to that of the toxic relationship they have been telling about. The song is also manipulative in a way that you'll want more because of the structure but it ends abruptly to make the listeners crave. And moreover, it's so crafty since Changkyun's intro "verse" was actually the first chorus but yes, they made it sound so different which is really fascinating. It's ingenuity is insane but the style is so MONSTA X too. Thank you once again 🙏💜
