LOA is tricky, the song has been made to target the female audience (that's been said by someone having worked on the song). That's after having thought about it and a video that I got it. If we had to resume, the song is talking about their demand to their future lover but also the fans themselves. What kind of fans TWICE want for the future ? The zombies are an analogy to that, TWICE weren't meant to be considered just as idols and JYPE wanted the GP which is understandable considering the situation of the GGs in 2015 (as you know, groups have concepts or at launched with specific reasons and that's also the case for the latest JYPE groups). Also from 2015 to 2016, they always performed some performances and had an image that didn't fit to the idol standard. What I like about twice is that they explored hyper femininity, which is often looked down upon. Things such as being cute, which there’s nothing wrong with. And they’ve honestly grown so much since their debut and their music has matured with them. It’s honestly just fun songs that get you in a good mood, which I love. I seriously love twice. And the members are honestly the funniest girl group I’ve come across🥰🥰

Just a couple of notes. Please don't fall victim to the "TWICE tittle track syndrome" . TWICE has B-sides that ggs would kill to have as tittle tracks. With over 120 songs (Korean and Japanese) it would be unfair to judge them by a handfull of tittle tracks especially when all members have writing credits in quite a few B-sides. Japanese songs are as good as the Korean ones. That's one of the main reasons they are huge in Japan (other being they have 3 Japanese members) . They put the same amount of effort on both Korean and Japanese releases. Hope you enjoy your TWICE journey no matter how short or long.

I was the same way when I first started listening to twice! Not the biggest fan of the cutesy songs. But once I kept listening and really dived into their personality’s and lyrics I can’t go back. They’re literally great and the songs all grew on me. Seeing the growth in their music through the years is crazy!! Try Fancy or feel special, those got me hooked! Oh and don’t forget their songs in Japanese cause they’re just as great 🙂

Girl discovering twice was the exact same for me. It wasn't my taste in music because I don't like cutesy music and I was like "why do I like this?" I still don't quite understand what it is about them that gravitated me to them but I've been a once now for about 3 years and i haven't been able to find that same thing in any other group. they are still my favorite girl group. Bro Twice will grow on you, they are like that. Honesty I was hesitant to stan them because my music style was more like a punk rock musics but twice just *chef kiss*. Little by little twice songs just grew on me, little later, I'm learning their choreography and playing their song nonstop. This is the best reaction to a First Time listen. Basically sums up why TWICE is so great. You go into it not being your type of music but spend the entire time smiling and laughing and enjoying yourself. That's what Music is supposed to do. Evoke a genuine emotion that you would or wouldn't normally express. Great and Honest Reaction loved it. Also: "Are they coming for me?" "Oh but they are so cute" Basically sums up TWICE as well.

They're so cute, because back in the day they used to do only "cute" songs and that's what they're mostly recognized for. They're like that embodiment of cuteness. For like 2 years they're experimenting a lot more with their sound and make more "matured concept" like for example Feel special which is also my favourite song from them! When I want to feel confident and hyped I listen to BLACKPINK and when I want to feel fresh and get that "bubbly mood" I listen to Twice 😂 Btw BLACKPINK and Twice are like sisters 🥰

Please give them another try. I thought they weren’t my cup of tea either but you learn something new about yourself everyday! They are so hardworking and are concept queens!! I wanna recommend 1. TT (cute concept, but great and interesting song) 2. Cry For Me (mature concept) 3. Perfect World (mature, a little darker. this is a japanese song) 4. What is Love? (the mv is just amazing with all the movie references. It’s a cute concept) 5. Fancy (one of their first songs that wasn’t a cute concept)

This group broke the mold when it comes to balancing cute concept to mature concept. I am in love with this group. My favorite song from them is a b- side. Cactus is my fav song from them. AHHHHH!! TWICE!! This was such a lovely reaction video! I was just like you when I first started listening to TWICE. I felt like I had grown out of the "bubblegum pop" phase of my music taste but seeing their potential, I fell in love with TWICE's sweet charm. They are just the cutest girls with a lot of personality, versatility, and talent. i didnt think i liked twice because of how cutesy they were, but somehow out of no where there music got stuck in my head and i had to keep coming back. they are more what is called “bubblegum kpop”, however they’ve grown out of that in their more recent songs. they have grown and matured and i think it shows in their music. you should definitely check out “fancy”, “more & more” and “cry for me” twice is a group that had to grow on me for sure

Twice is one of my fave groups, but if you want rock fueled kpop with amazing vocals, you want Dreamcatcher. Also, when it comes to both groups, their b-sides are as good or better than their singles. Oh and the girl with the short hair is named Jeongyeon, the main dancer is Momo. Very much respect your opinion on the songs, and to this day Likey is still my favorite song by Twice, even though they released songs like Feel Special, Love Foolish, You Make Me Go and Handle It.
