The cameos ! Yes, SM used to do cameos of either their current (favorite) trainees or newly debuted groups. eg. Victoria in Replay, Minho in Gee, EXO in Twinkle. Like EXO were babies when Twinkle came out and it was a fun way to get them more exposure because SNSD were at the height of their career here. I, too, wish SM still did cameos because they're so fun ! Also, TaeTiSeo kills it always. Some of the best female vocal powerhouses in SM

Love the reaction gurll! Exo-K just debuted so SM promoted them this way, you can see the boys wearing their MAMA debut outfits. But you gotta watch Twinkle and Holler live, vocally they were a force to be reckoned with, and its such a pleasure watching Taeyeon hit those high notes in her live performances of these songs

Minho was actually in Gee, Chanyeol was in Genie, Exo-K were in Twinkle. I knew you were gonna lose your brain when watching Exo cameo in Twinkle. For TTS is one of the best subnit ever besides CBX. Both of their debut songs are my favorite. Also please check out TTS and Exo collaboration song "DJ got us fallin' in love". Exo and SNSD even had more stage together like "Marry you" and "Crazy in love". Also fun fact, Baekhyun and Taeyeon used to date.

TTS were THE GIRLS to me tbh. Taeyeon is my KING, but Seohyun is a close second. Her voice is SO FREAKNIG GOOD. Tiffany is Tiffany - she's so talented and her voice, GAH. These three honestly killed me as a sub-unit.

Loved this reaction, and you are right, the 3 are the vocal line from Girls Gen!! Taeyeon is the main vocalist, Tiffany & Seohyun are lead vocalist. They made a cover from Destiny Child, their version became really popular in Korea so I recommend this one.

Snsd is my favorite group and one of my favorite songs is Baby Steps by TTS, I'm simply in love with this song. As well as Adrenaline live ver and Winter Story (yes, a Christmas song, I love it). I recommend.

Hi Caitlin, Long time listener, first time caller here! Love that this dropped during my workout and gave me a boost I needed for the last 20 min. Anyways, I'm glad you picked up on twinkle and forever 1. F1 does have a lot of callbacks to their entire discography and I thought exactly the same when I saw some of the F1 sets. As for the cameos, it was so normal and just expected for SM to place a soon to debut trainee or a recently debuted artist (recording artist or actor) into another established artist's MV. A few examples are Shinhwa showing up on an SES MV, Yoona of SNSD popping up on an SJ MV, Yunho of TVXQ was on Dana's MV, etc. Basically if they put emphasis on someone other than the artist/s then we knew we would see more of them eventually. Also fun fact, Chanyeol and Minho showed up on SNSD's MVs b/c the girls really adore those guys and wanted to give them exposure (I forget where they said this , but it exists somewhere). SM eventually started to phase out the cameos about 10 yrs ago (of course there are exceptions) but I thought it was a fun way to get us hyped about a potential new artist.

I remember I watched all the live performances of Holler, even in the awards shows. I was obsessed! And I still remember all their outfits and the one where Taeyeon fall into that stage 🥲. It's one of my all time favortie song

When sm got trainees that are ready for debut they somehow make them into sm artists mvs. Like shinee minho in girls generation 'Gee', fx Krystal in shinees juliette, Irene in shinees why so serious, girls generations Jessica in shinees sherlock, aespas karina in taemins want. And exo members in twinkle. Prolly more than those but can't recall now.

MV cameos were normal for SM/kpop back in the day. Victoria, Jessica and Krystal have been in SHINee videos. Minho was in SNSD - Gee. Exo Members were in this. So On and So Forth. It was real fun times. lol.

I miss SM making their newly debuted or soon to debut idols feature on their current big names MVs. Yoona(SNSD) on Super Junior's U Irene(Red Velvet) on Henry's 1-4-3 Victoria (f(x)) on SHINee's Replay Minho(SHINee) on SNSD's Gee Baekhyun, Kai and Sehun(EXO) on TTS' Twinkle Chanyeol(EXO) actually appeared on two SNSD's MVs: TTS - Twinkle and SNSD's Genie (Japanese Version). Also I think Karina(aespa) was a backup dancer on Taemin's - WANT Jungwoo(NCT) on Yesung's (Super Junior) - Paper Umbrella Yeri appeared on Red Velvet's debut before being added to it. Some NCT members made cameos on other NCT MVs before making their debut: Winwin on Without You
