Sunghoon was a Big Hit trainee or 2 years prior to being on I-land. So that would have included both dancing and singing training. So yes he was trained in singing prior to being in Enhypen.

And yes! Ni-ki really struggled in the Into the I-Land test with the First Part, he really has grown a lot since then. Those TenTen vitamins be doing wonders lmao. I really love his naturally deep voice in both his singing and rapping and love love how much he gets into the performances. Sunghoon is one amazing performer, they all truly shine on stage but damn. Sunghoon is so consistent and really commands and owns every single comeback. He’s so amazing

A funny fun fact is that when heeseung first discovered that he has perfect pitch, it was when his dad fart. Heeseung immediatly recognize it sounds like La#(?)😂 Anyway Caitlyn, i really like this kind of behind the recording reaction. Hope you'll do it more in the future🤗

I’ll never not laugh at Sunghoon’s (and Enhypen’s in general, if one thing sticks to one member, within a couple of days is spread like a virus in that tiny dorm) obsession with singing fighting by BSS every single time. BSS lives in his head rent free. Every time they say “Hwaiting” it’s always followed by the choreo and the “파이팅 해야지” 😭😭

i don’t think sunghoon got any vocal training before joining as a trainee. i don’t know for a fact but i guess he got maybe a little bit for dancing and expressions (?) like facial expressions or how to express himself through his body but that was for his figure skating. i really admire sunghoon for his courage! he always rise up for any kind of challenge ever since. like how he shifted from his stable path as an athlete to being an idol, personally pushing for the auditions to be music bank mc not too long after debut and working hard every week to correct his mistakes and improve, acting for cameo and so on. i think that’s so admirable.

Whenever we get a new ENHYPEN album, I depend so much on Heeseung, Jay, and Sunoo's vocal performances in order to decide which songs make it to my playlist, since they're the more skilled ones imo, but the excitement comes from the other 4's vocal improvements with each new comeback, and I hope they get better and better with their singing, since I eat up those radio song performances and live vocals the most lol But seriously, PLEASE GIVE ENHYPEN SONGS MORE BRIDGES 😭 I miss the Border days when we had complete melodies man, we were eating good

no sunghoon didn’t have any vocal experience prior to becoming an idol trainee, but when it comes to dancing, he did do some ballet/modern dance when he was younger. fun fact, sunghoon only became a trainee after being casted by bighit bcs he thought it would be beneficial for his figure skating (dancing/facial expression), so he did skating and idol training simultaneously for 2 years, he had no plan to become an artist initially! and no acting experience either, he’s getting more into acting recently and i believe that acting is something he will consider for the future!

I think that sunghoon, heeseung, jay and jungwon used to be trainees at bighit together, heeseung has the longest training period in enhypen alongside with jay for 3 years. Sunoo trained only for 10 months before debuting same as Jake.

Heeseung does have perfect pitch! He mentioned it on his Lee Mujin Service appearance and is mentioned in interviews here and there. He discovered it while he was in the car with his dad and his dad farted and turned out to be Sol so 😭😭 he said that while it was easier for him to immediately correct his pitch, he still struggles here and there. They tested it in a debut Interview for their debut showcase, Weekly Idol for Given-Taken, in a fanmeeting, Lee Mujin, and in a recent show called Dope Club!

Oh yesss! I’m glad you were able to react to this! They’ve definitely all improved a TON, touring really did amazing for them in terms of confidence, live singing and singing stability. Sunghoon has done a lot of things in his 21 years of living 😭 but prior to training (2 years and 11 months I think) other music wise thing that he did was playing the cello but that’s about it. I feel it coming that we’re going to get the members so involved in the next comeback. Sunghoon has been submitting lyrics since debut so hopefully he can get his lyrics on an album soon. Heeseung and Jake write here and there, Jay is in his guitar obsession era and I hope we can get that for tour. Ni-ki choreographing and hopefully eventually writing his own raps. Sunoo being the stable king he is I hope he gets a chance to work on the album too. Jungwon has such a unique tone of voice (they all do actually lol) and his voice really stands out a lot. You’ll notice in their content the constant “yeoui~” showing up 😭 it’s been crazy these past 6 months or so since they’ve all been INSANELY obsessed with it. Hope you have a great day!! Jungwon and Jake definitely slayed the chorus but Sunoo during the intro makes me think why we didn't get one from him, or if we'd gotten one if the song was longer with a bridge and a final chorus with Sunoo singing it.

I believe sunghoon does have prior experience in contemporary dance but before being a trainee I do not believe he has any vocal training but hybe definitely trained them prior to i-land.

Don’t think Sunghoon had prior experience with vocal training. Maybe started when he became a trainee. I noticed his technique is a behind the others but he’s growing. Other than him and Niki, En- might be on the same level. Heesung’s just a bit higher.
