even though this song was lyrically very hard for Dimash . he nailed it , many Chinese reactors have said he sang it like a native Chinese singer... but the reason why it is one of my favourites of songs that he sings is that he does not stretch his vocal talent as high or low as he is capable .. but this by far is the most emotional song he has ever sung.. at least in my humble opinion.. it is a song that he can not hide behind Dimashisms .. just pure melody and emotion ... it is reflected in the demeanour of the crowd and his peers thank for reacting to it.. So my next song you need to react to is Daybreak it is about a cablecar accident that happened in China something like 18 people died in this tragedy but the father of a 2-year-old boy was able to hoist his son up through the roof of the floating cablecar and his son was able to keep living .. this song is about the putting to words of those tragic events all those years ago ... the young child was adopted by the original singer of the song .. please react to it .. you won't regret it .. just bring tissues ... lots of them

After the war her real identity was exposed and those who loved her turned against her. She was deported to japan and she never saw china again it a very sad song .. also that was the first time Dimash ever sang in chinese on stage.. he learned chinese in a week just for this song

You'd be even more amazed - & better understand the audience's response - to discover the true story on which the song is based. Many years ago - war-time years - there was a Japanese couple living in China who had a daughter there. She became a very well known singer, choosing to go by a Chinese name. At a certain point it was discovered that her parents were Japanese, so she was forced to leave, to go to Japan where she knew no one. There's a bit more, but that's the gist of it. You can see that many who are Chinese felt for her, perhaps felt bad about how she was treated. After all, she'd been a favorite Chinese singer - then forcibly deported. ~♥~
