AGHHHH IM GONNA MISS THEM AND ALL THESE CHARACTERS SO MUCH 😭 I hope riot decides to give them a small reappearance in some of their new projects because I can’t believe we’ll never see these characters again, it doesn’t seem like riot would do that. BUT THIS SHOW LEFT ME SO SAD BECAUSE THE ENDING WAS HAPPY BUT I CANT ACCEPT THAT ITS OVER AND NOT COMING BACK 😭

Oh wow that songs really works perfectly for Caitlyn reflecting on how she treated Vi in s2. I think Vi really believed Caitlyn to be like a god. Delivering her out of seven years of hell and darkness in Stillwater and being the first one to treat her kind and gentle ever since Vander died. Inexplicable so from Vi's perspective. And then Caitlyn destroyed her like she were in episode 3 of s2. But I am so glad they still got their happy end. Would have been heartbreaking otherwise

This is art. Like Jesus, it hit me so hard I'm sobbing. I've never seen anyone encapsulate their relationship and especially Caitlyn's perspective so well. This song really fits her and there's so many nuanced layers that you edited masterfully. The growth she went through to recognize how her hate for Jinx festered into her becoming just like, if not worse than what she sought to defeat in the end, and Caitlyn's recognition/guilt of the pain she put Vi and others through because of it. Vi's blind faith and trust in the people she loves no matter how many times she's hurt. Their characters are way more complex than most people like to portray, and I'm glad there's some beautiful representation of that out there. Arcane characters aren't good or bad, they're people being people, learning from their mistakes and facing their traumas. That's why I think Mitski fits this so well, because she's just always such an honest representation of the aspects of the human condition that are seldom talked about (and especially handled gracefully), you know? I could write a whole analysis on the interpretation of this song alone, God I just love how well this is made, thank you!!
