*mmmm short summary for those who need it* Tw/ scars young heather is forced to go to a ceremony and all the kids get 3 hearts scarred in their arm. Later we see heather arrive at school and greet her boyfriend (note that she doesn’t acknowledge the anniversary much). Music starts and we see she isn’t as in love as he is and she flirts with some guy. Her boyfriend confronts her and she plays the victim. Finally, heather sneaks out for fresh air and comes across the boy. (This includes plot points but the hidden aspects will have to be discovered :D )

I see that a lot of people are confused on what the story here is about so heres what I got from watching this like 5 times. Again this is my interpretation I may be right or wrong. So heather got 3 hearts as a kid symbolising how many times you fall in love. Her boyfriend at the beginning gives her everything she needs like love and comfort, but he cant let his guard down and doesn't trust her. So he checks her phone to see the guy she saw at the coffee shop,Ian,was texting her. He suspected she was cheating on him and overreacted. Since he didnt give her a chance to explain everybody saw it as cheating. So she breaks up with him. And she ends up falling in love with Ian from the coffee shop.
