This differes between bikes, mopeds, and motorcycles. Bicycles mostly depends on country, but much of the world it is in fact the left. Same with mopeds, although I owned a moped that was the other way. However with motorcycles, I have to agree because of the clutch. I have never heard of a right hand clutch or left foot shifter, so motorcycles the right has to be front, because you can safely throttle and brake with the same hand, but not safely with your clutch hand. Just order of operations haha.

44 years ain't long enough to know any better but foot shifters used to be on the right side. My 1963 Harley Davidson Sportster is a right shifter. Right shifters were popular for flat track racing so you could shift even while going fast around a left corner with your left foot dragging on the ground for stability. The rear foot brake is on the left on that bike.

Cake is a nice looking e-bike no doubt, but e-bike battery efficiency have to improve a lot for real world usage to be doable. 16 miles max, but in reality like 12 unless you want to get stranded on such an expensive e-bike is gut wrenching. That’s insane 25% battery gone in 4 miles?! Yikes!

Do a review on the Stark Varg Alpha 80hp. My brother and I bought two of them recently and it is much more faster, heavier and pricier than our KTM SMR and EXC 450.
