When you kill someone on the road in Germany, and you were racing you get not in jail for killing accidently, you get in jail for murder and lose your driving licence for the rest of your life. Even if the person walked over the street while the traffic light was red. As racing can count when you accelerate quick after the traffic light got green, and the car on the other line does, too!

Need for Speed: Heat is a very good NFS installment because it's got a perfect storyline and the perfect ending. The Most Wanted BMW M3 GT-R E46 has Frank Mercer drive this time. I suppose 2017's Need for Speed: Payback had a tense storyline.

Having bought the game 2nd hand about 2 weeks ago just tonight I literally completed this about an hour ago (without online playing) and I genuinely finished the last mission thinking "was that it?" I was properly expecting some big race in the league with a big payout at the end, especially as the characters talk about the 'league' so much.... but hey it was a fun game nonetheless - still got the odd billboard to collect and flamingo's but not the same once you know you've completed the story mode 😕

Yeah, i expected to be a longer story too, and with more impact from the showdown (something like Ryan Cooper being defeated, but instead of a "Game Over", he would also cooperate to end Mercer's corruption) and daylight races. But, for the weird standards that Ghost got in us, in fact, it was at the level of a decent Black Box game. 8.5/10 It could be better, but, Ghost is finally getting the way.
