Thanks for sharing a great haul😊. I had a flash of a thought when you showed the letter beads. Since you only need the letters of crochet hooks, something you could do with the X and O beads is make hugs and kisses earrings and bracelets😮! Or stitch markers with a hug and a kiss on them! A couple of color beads to pretty it up and voila! New items. It's just a thought and since I don't bead anymore I thought I would share it with JujuBee in case the extra letters would be a problem. Loved this video! I also love that my girls still want to do stuff with me! I was at my Michael's today with my youngest daughter. There was a good bit of clearance yarn. We didn't get any of that. My daughter bought some purple acrylic yarn to knit blankets for project Linus. I bought some bamboo yarn just because it was pretty! I also got some teapot beads and flamingo beads to make earrings. Congratulations👏 Juju for graduating!

Ladies after my own heart. Yarn and beads....is there anything better? Your Michaels sounds like my Michaels. Every week I walk in hopeful and walk out with something close to what I was looking for.......kind of. That Flecks yarn is so, so pretty. I love it (and any Impeccable Tweed) I know the blue beads that Juju picked up. They'll be really pretty in whatever she makes from them. Do you have any local rock and bead shops? Sometimes their beads are more reasonably priced than you'd think. The only one in our whole county is only 5 miles away...I'd be so lost without them.

The skein tones were $6.49 at my Michael's. So that was actually a good clearance. I've also been finding Bernat bulky acrylic there for $.99 every few weeks (like they keep finding it somewhere...). Have a great day! 🐞

Someone else is finding the random 99 cents bulky chunky yarn too? 😂 I thought a store near me was just wacky. My closest store has always had it full price but one a little further away has randomly had tons of it at 99 cents. No stickers or anything saying it was on sale either. It’s just been there on a center aisle display. I want more of a couple colors I’ve been making baskets with but last time I was at that store all they had left was orange. Maybe they’ll find more? Meanwhile the closer to me store had softee baby for $2 one week. Grabbed what was left and now the same stuff is full price again. Something wonky with the softee yarns and Michael’s stores. I don’t understand.

So, at my Michael's, we never got the blossom or cinnamon swirl cakes. But over the last week or so, I found craftsmart yarn on clearance. They have cut the space in half of what it was and put red heart yarn there. I couldn't pass up yarn for $2.

I used to love that cheese! I grew up around Port Huron and when you said gov. cheese, the building where we got it flashed in my mind. lol Love your channel and just ordered a couple things from juju. Can't wait to get them. You also introduced me to Premier non pilling yarn and it's my new favorite. Love seeing the pups too🐶

Just checked on the internet and didn't see any Caron Cakes at my Michaels on clearance. The colors you mentioned weren't even listed. I gone to a couple of Michaels where I live and usually the yarn sections aren't great. However, it is still better than buying online. The shipping packages so far have been crap. They use bigger boxes than needed, and then don't tape them correctly. I took pictures last time and posted on my Facebook page. I said it was the last time I would order from Michaels online. Maybe Michaels in general is having a hard time. Maybe more people are buy from companies like Premier and Mary Maxim.

Omg Jen you brought it back to the govt food. I grew up on that as my grandma had to raise five kids alone at the age of 53. So we would get that. The cereal was a white box with the Corn Flakes in big black lettering and my grandma would make the powdered milk and stick it in the gallon to make it seem like it was regular milk so we could drink it lol. Those were the days I swear but it made us who we are. I tell my kids about the block cheese and the big ole jars of peanut butter that would stick to the roof of your mouth. Juju just needs a rainbow bee beads KZbin hahaha

The closest Michaels to me has next to nothing interesting, but it always seems to be packed....🤷 There's caramel & then there's Carmel (by the sea). 🤣😂🤣😂 My mom used to get "government cheese" when she retired....I LOVED that stuff!!!

I just looked on the site (May 17), I see with a lot of yarn "buy one, get one 50 %- add 2 items to qualify. So it seems 25 % clearance is still on.

I swear we are yarn twins. I picked up the same super pale (I swear it looked prettier under the florescent lights of the store itself. It looked more super pale rainbow than white.) Flecks yarn a few weeks ago. And my Michael’s is wacky too. I found it at a different store further away and realize I didn’t see any Flecks the other day at my local store but their yarn was super picked over and not even any clearance. Anyway. What are you planning to make with yours? I think I was thinking shirt? But I might have been thinking summer cardigan because I was between it and something else when they were buy one, get one half off (but then I don’t know that two skeins would’ve covered a cardigan even for my teeny tiny self so that doesn’t make sense. Lol.). I laugh because I know you’ve talked about doing the same- grabbing yarn with a plan then forgetting what on earth you were planning. But that Flecks yarn fascinated me because it looks so different depending on the light.

Our local Michaels rarely has yarn on clearance and the selection of regularly stocked yarn is pathetic. So, online shopping is my preference.

I'm the same with the pecan and caramel pronunciations. When talking about the pie or (even then nuts themselves for me) I pronounce the last syllable of pecan like a can of soda, but the ice cream flavor is always butter pecan (rhymes with John) for me. The little taffy candy or the inside of a snickers bar is where I tend to pronounce the 2nd "a" in caramel, but when I'm talking about flavored pop corn, I never pronounce the second "a", I always pronounce it like there isn't a second "a" and the "mel" part becomes more like mull, i.e. "carmull corn". I have no idea why I do that. Looks like it should be one or the other for both of them, but I do it all the time. There is definitely a 2nd "a" and "mel" not "mull" so caramel probably should be pronounced like I pronounce the taffy candy, and I can't think of any other word at the moment where "can" is spelled like that and not pronounced like in canister or canned green beans or Canada, so it probably should be pecan even for the ice cream flavor, but my brain just won't give in and do it that way, LOL :) Hugs and blessings!

Juju, I was wondering how shipping works on Etsy. Do you have to put in the weight of the item when you list it so that shipping is figured out when someone orders something?

Yes, we measure the box or envelope and weight and when your zip code is put in, etsy calculated the cost of shipping. And we buy the postage through etsy. Its all part of the same process.
