Jennifer Daniels Hey Jennifer! So nice to hear from you, thanks for writing & I'm so glad you like my channel! This is a favorite & I guarantee you'll love it! People tell me they feel like they're eating ice-cream when they have this cake! Don't over-cook it even if you feel it's still a little moist in the center, that's just the juice of the raspberries! good luck and let me know how you go, xo

Hi Sharon, thanks for your reply. Cake too over 2 1/2 hours to cook and I uncovered it after 1 1/2 hours which was a mistake as it did go crusty on the outside but was still delicious to eat covered in white chocolate ganache as a birthday cake 😀
@cakesbysharon9 жыл бұрын
Karen Horsewill Hi Karen, if this happens I just remove the crust and then you're left with the nice pale white cake inside :) Unless of course you eat it hot and then it's melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

Hi Sharon I stumbled across your channel and love your videos 😍 if I was to use frozen raspberrys do you think I would need to coat them in flour due to how wet they become?
@cakesbysharon6 жыл бұрын
Hi Manda, Yes you can coat them in some flour before adding them, also if you leave them to come to room temperature before adding them they will be ok too. Good luck, either way it'll be fine (even without the flour)

Thanks so much! I put them in some flour and it came out great! Thank you!

Hi Sharon Love your channel and tutorials! Made the White chocolate and raspberry mud cake, today. Tasted amazing!!! It tasted really, Sweet. The ingredients says, 400g caster sugar. Could you confirm, if that's correct? Keep up the good work :)

Hi Jo, thanks for watching my video! It really is a personal choice, I made this video some time ago now and since then I personally used about 300g of sugar, any less and I think the flavours won't balance. You can experiment, there are no hard and fast rules, it's also a personal preferences too. Take care, xo

Will definately make another one, and reduce the sugar,, to 300g. For your next video, can you do a tutorial, on how to price cakes please. Thanks for your reply. X

Hi Sharon, I'm making this in one deep 8" tin and have so far been cooking it for 2 1/2 hours and it's still not cooked it the middle?! What have I done wrong? Thanks Karen
@cakesbysharon9 жыл бұрын
Karen Horsewill Hi Karen, sorry I didn't get to this yesterday, how did you go? When you bake a mud cake in a deep pan esp this one it does take a few hours so it's ok. The main thing is to keep it covered otherwise by the time the center is cooked the top is really crusty and dark.

Hi Byron, Happy New Year! Thank you so much for your lovely compliment, what a great way to start the year! Yes that particular cake is a very popular one, sweet with a slight hint of tang! My fav moment would be when all the creatures help to make her dress, it's magical!
