yeah you're right, Cakra Khan always covers a song in his own way and that makes the song fit to be sung by him, I personally feel very emotional because I don't have many memories with my father, because he died when I was 9 years old 🤔😔😭. James blunt wrote this song for his father coz his father was diagnosed with some sort of cancer. So in the song he’s saying we’re not father & son but just 2 adult saying goodbye (meaning his dad will be gone soon). It doesn’t mean he has no mother
