I love listening to your reviews. Cakra's performance is always great. Here he is very intense and emotive. As a change of pace, please review his new release of Let You Break My Heart Again. He uses his low, smokey chest voice with minimal rasp and the tone is melancholic. The song itself has a fifties feel and is jazzy even though it is by Laufey; the setting is lovely and sophisticated. This is a different Cakra from what we are used to, more adult and sexy.

Love your reaction on this one Jacqueline. Spot on. I really dig you pointing out the difference between just "singing" a song and "performing" one. There is so much more aspects in a performance like Cakra does and one of it is that he can really feel the message in the song and make us feel it to. I'm also in total agreement with you that Cakra seem to pick the songs not based on technical or vocal consideration only, but he choses the ones that he can relate to emotionally.
