Why is USC the centerpiece of two Cal Extension Schools half time show? Hilarious!

Cal Extension schools? Cal and UCLA are ranked in the top 20 universities in the world. USC is ranked #66. So not sure who you are calling "extension school." Compared to Cal and UCLA, USC is like a junior college in the world stage. But that aside, because both of the two flagship schools of the California public school system don't like USC's obnoxious one-hit-wonder band. That's why they are the center piece in this.

Cal and UCLA share the same fight song. The Cal band was in white, the UCLA band was the Trojans.

I was in this show. Cal and UCLA split up evenly on each side. If you don't believe me, look at the zoomed in shots. People with the blue undershirts are from the UCLA band, and those with the gray undershirts are from the Cal band. So both are on both sides

@@Adam-lj7et The UCLA fight song was modeled after the Cal fight song with a slightly different arrangement. It was the Cal fight song that was played at the end (Note it was called Big C).
