Cal Poly hyperlapse

A compilation of "hyperlapses" that I captured during my video editing job. I built and programmed a Lego NXT robot, which subtly moved my Sony a6000 camera as it captured a timelapse. It took approximately 2 months to capture all of the footage in this video.

Brilliant! Just wondering if you're willing to share how to do that transition made at around 0:35. The combination of 2 scenes with one pan at the same time. =D

Thank you! That transition is pretty simple, I just did a horizontal wipe and covered it up with a fake tree in the foreground. To make the tree, I just downloaded a photo off the internet, blurred it out, and made it fly across the screen left to right. What really helps to sell the transition, though, is that the motion in both of the hyperlapses is the same. I had my robot programmed to make the same speed linear motion for both of those shots (2 inches / minute).

So you know how you build all of your knex rollercoasters, well do u take down them right after u make them to make a new one, or do u have lots and lots of knex

Sadly I have to take them down every time I want to build a new one. K'Nex isn't cheap, and I don't have very much space to store old coaster models anyway. So pictures and videos are the only way I can preserve them!
