if you are struggling with desert scourge on this seed, i recommend putting water in your arena to slow it down so it’s easier to dodge and hit.

my friends and i were trying to beat this seed on death mode but are currently stuck on old duke dealing 1000 contact damage even with 200+ defense while moving at the speed of light (we want that shattered community). We encountered many bugs which were most robably caused by multiplayer (like astrum deus not despawning after everyone died, forcing us to wait a whole minute before respawning, and our adrenaline meter endlessly charging even though there was no boss present). The seed is truly an interesting challenge. things like having hallowed armor pre-wof, pillar armor pre-ml, accessories like the void of extinction at very early hm, and so on. Sure many bosses were just unfair, like storm weaver only getting damaged from its head and tail in both its calm and crazy phase, and the little tentacles plantera spawns at phase 2 that chase you down after a while dealing a constant 300+ damage (2 hit at that phase of progression) and bearly being able to do any damage with weapons that are ahead of her tier. Though the seed can be harsh on you at times, its really fun, especially with the whole shimmer-skipping of progression. If anyone has found a solution to the low gravity of the surface and beyond please do tell me, since its been really bugging me and my friends throughout the whole playthrough.

i went rogue trying this seed, and found that one thing you can do, assuming you got a corruption nearby, is just spawn EoW and kill him when you're fighting a post-ml boss to get free health. also i forgot about light discs being hallowed bar so i went pre-mechdusa without using that skip sadly.

the seed would be way more fun for me if it didn't have hours worth of just digging tunnels to get anywhere, and i'm doing it multiplayer with a friend, and we just killed cultist, up till than it was painfull but not that bad, and almost anything post plantera is a huge pain, especialy golem
