Hello sir how are you doing . Sir i just want to know about the calcium and chloride If i am mixing calcium chloride in water and if i have calcium are 24 then how much be chloride ?? Can you please explain it to me

Hi Muhammad. There are two chloride atoms for every calcium atom in calcium chloride. So 24 calcium atoms means 48 chloride atoms. As for mass, calcium is 40 grams per mole and chloride is 35.5 grams per mole. So for every 40 grams of calcium, there are 2 * 35.5 = 70 grams of chloride. (If I didn’t make any mistakes here!) Hope that helps.

@@Muhammadkhan-oz6wt Well, I hesitate to put my email here on KZbin, but if you look at my faculty page at Clemson you'll find it there. (Not sure if not listing it here matters, but...)
