Mam..Why you are not using dilute HCl in the first place and then this procedure? We did it by adding Salt soln + dil.HCl + NH4Cl + NH4OH + (NH4)2CO3. Is there anything wrong with this procedure. Please tell me. Tomorrow is my exam

Mam when we add K2CrO4 , we didn't get yellow ppt means 'Ba' is absent . So we can say that "Ca" is present, instead of doing calcium test
