I’ve not made any so I couldn’t really say with any certainty. However, 5% ASM would be a good place to start and adjust depending on how economical or powerful a cleanser you need it to be. Take into consideration chelating agents, preservatives and any conditioning agents and how they may affect it. Best thing to do it experiment with different levels until you find a level that produces the results you want.

If 10% ASM should be in a face wash . How do we get the formula for different quantities of face wash gel like 500ml 4000ml 6000ml because there's no way same formula will be used in different quantities

@@ChinwenduEzenaike You would decide on a rough amount of each surfactant for your formula first, then do the ASM calculation. If it’s too high, reduce the surfactant levels until it comes out at the percentage ASM you want. If it’s too low then increase them 🙂
