I am a garden designer and installation for my self employed business. Does that time/labor to install a landscape concidered s cost o Goods? Then what about the maintenance service......weeding, pruning Labor...is that cost of goods? Thank you, Grace

Hey Grace! Great question. Think of it this way, any labor that is spent on providing a product or doing a service would be considered to be cost of goods. Think of it this way, the service cannot be provided without a person doing the service. So any hours spent on providing the service would be cost of goods. As for the time designing a project, that too could be a COG as the customer is paying for the design as well. So basically, any labor associated with providing the service would be COGs.
