I failed calculus twice, but finally passed with a B the third time. If only I had seen these videos earlier I could’ve avoided a world of pain. This made everything click. Calc 2 is in the fall so hopefully my new and deeper understanding of this stuff will make a difference in that class. Thank you!!

Why ratio is for to be considered, two simple way of finding the steepest is by Take the distance of horizontal line from the initiation of the slope to the spot that forms the 90' on the horizontal line. ( the greater the horizontal distance to reach the 90' spot is less steeper) Some for on the steep line , the lesser the vertical drop of an imaginary line to the base from any given random point along the steepy path with in first couple of meters of the elevation .
