Love The Video. I too just bought that savage 93 in .17hmr at sportsmans wharehouse for 329 beans. I was also eyeing that bipod. Cant wait to see all the videos of u shooting that gun. Please dont keep us waiting too long

Dude, thank you for making this video. I'm fairly new to firearms as well. What little bit I do know is self taught. I also own a savage bolt action (model 110) and I just picked up this bipod from my local bass pro/cabela's. I opened the box and was concerned that I didn't see any hardware or instructions. I didn't imagine it would be this simple. Can't wait to get this thing to the range and zero the scope. I just hope it doesn't take too many rounds to get dialed in. 7mm isn't the cheapest ammo. Just bought my first hunting rifle for the upcoming season. Never hunted before so I'm in the same boat, I'm just learning as I go. I picked up the same iPod when I bought my rifle and here I am. Looks pretty simple, although I don't know if I love how the sling attaches on the front as opposed to the back of the bipod. Seems like that Might not be the best for carrying The rifle through the woods comma but we will see

Do you have it mounted with the legs pointed toward the muzzle when folded? This puts the sling attachment at the back of the device.

My 30.06 mounts the same way it comes lose sometimes so keep a eye on it

good rifle-- had mine for years until i ran it over escaping a forest fire--- invest in a bolt parts -- weak point after 300,000 rounds is teh extractor--- itrs accurate
