Thank you for this fantastic wander through an alien landscape. I really appreciate your attention to tiny percussive details and warm glowing chords. I loved the zither-like instrument scattered across the stereo field at 9:20. Beautiful work, as always!

I am so glad you liked it! I made this piece in patches, so it's kind of scattered and all over the place, but I feel like it's got something unique about it. It's really a result of not being able to make anything concrete in the past few weeks, so I'd use elements from the failed projects which I felt were the best, and fused them together into this. I am putting together a new music making system, so there will only be one more track from the computer I have now, which served me well for three years. I am playing around with the idea of going full synthesis again, but definitely less maximalist style. I'd like to try some new directions, maybe even more basic compositions with less elements. Who knows:) Hopefully I will be able to finish my last song by the 31st of this month as a fitting wrap up to very productive 3 years. I hope you are having great holidays! Let's hope that 2025 will be less bloody and violent for our tiny speck of dust floating through the void.

@tiadiad I'm excited to hear what yiu have cooking! To my ears it seems like you`re always searching new paths and techniques, so a whole new system will be a grand adventure. Thank you for sharing your talents so generously this year. Next year will be even better.
