Cue the song by Johnny Cash: "Tennessee Flat Top Box?" I play the 45 record version in the key of "D" (as best I can -- it's a tricky one, IMO)

How thick did you decide to make your top braces?

Nice work Caleb. I'm glad you showed how to do the rosette. I almost got lynched when I called somebody's guitar ugly. It was mostly the rosette that was the problem there. I really wasn't trying to be mean, but it is a lot of work to build a guitar, and you want it to look good when finished. That one I'm referring to was basically embarrassing. Who wants that?

I really enjoy your posts but I'm frustrated with your pace . I'm 78 and I hope to see tour finished project before I pass on . Keep up the good work but at least explain your pace . Jerry's retired and a lot of us are counting on you . All the best !

Looks great Caleb! as a side note, ditch the carpet on your guitar bench it holds to many "scratchy" particles that can damage a finish. yoga mat cut to your desired size works well. keep it up!
