YG Entertainment told Korean journalists due to health reasons Ahyeon will miss the debut but rejoin the group later. But there’s so many rumors: she got picked up by another record label and wanted to go solo so she left, botched plastic surgery rumors, thyroid disease made her gain a lot of weight, N word scandal happened so she got depressed etc There’s so many crazy rumors now but no one knows the truth yet 😭

The only critique I have for you Caleb, is you forgot subtitles, which is important to this particular song as it is introducing themselves to the world and shows them coming out hard with the "monster" theme. Yes, according to YG, Ahyeon is said to be recovering from health issues and expected to join the group when fully recovered. No one knows the actual reason as no details have been given.

I wonder if they were working on a different project for the debut and had to switch it up last minute with Ahyeon being unable to debut. It feels like a very safe debut song. They took zero risks. Kinda feels like this was the b-side and they scrambled to put it together.

It's a classic YG song still it wouldn't be a blackpink song. Instrumental wise they could do it i suppose, but the way their singing and rapping is different from Blackpink.

For me the the pre chorus is just heaven, but the chorus ruins the heavenly vibe, and the song doesn’t feel connected. In boombayah i can’t explain but the flow + connection lasted for the whole song , giving it an iconic vibe that most Blackpink songs have, on here it feels like just random parts when the pre chorus outdid the song atleast for me, and the ending on this song is very similar to boombayah ending, but if i be brutally honest too, its not that good… If the whole song had the pre chorus vibe it would be too good to be real

Production wise it does make sence... That's how the songs work... even with blackpink you'll see this. For example we have HYLT, soft intro but hiphop drop? it's the same. You can have your oppinion and all, but im seeing all the same comments, making me now think peaple are just hatin lmao.

Als if you don't like the chorus then you just aren't a YG stan anyway, you prob either just a hater or just not used to how YG does things except for blackpink. YG will never have such a "heaven" drop and defently not because the intro already hinted that hardhitting drop....

@@ChaennieMashups Im an ex blink, i was a blink since boombayah until HYLT because waiting 2 years is too much + pink venom is not that good too compared to their previous songs Anyways, most blackpink songs have a unique sound , even the drop sounds GOOD. The drop batter up sounds bad compared to other parts of the song. And at least im not afraid to say the truth im not blinded by youtube views. I remember when this girls was a rumour 4 years ago, people was very hyped. Anything they will release people going to like IS IT A BLACKPINK SONG LEVEL? no IS IT BAD? Its decent

I like it very much, even though this one isn't bringing that much personality as i hoped it's still well produced and arranged. Why would you compare them to blackpink though? it's litterly never a song that blackpink would do + they just debuted. Obv if you gonna compare them it's obv gonna be bad in the first place...

@@ChaennieMashups exactly. You said it. It doesn’t have personality. Its just a well produced song. I can see why people like it. Look its not “bad” at all. Maybe the expectation from “the second first GG after blackpink was too high. But still. It lacks of personality, it feels like randoms parts that they connected them by force. Even if the parts sounds good, as a whole song it doesn’t feel connected. In blackpink they did it very good with most songs. I hope they will do songs that have that effect, because it makes a song more unique and rememberable
