In some coding languages NaN is treated the same as 0, and this makes infinities extremely useful.

Hey what does double.max_value output only some numbers are trustworthy mean? does it mean it's less precise?

The output is the largest number you can store in the double. However when you start doing calculations with huge numbers, you may not get the 100% exact number.
