This means that: x - 2t = 9 x + t = 10 + 6/60 Solving these equations, we get: t = 22 x = 53/2 Therefore, the correct time at which they stopped is 53/2 + 22 = 49/2 hours, or 24 hours and 30 minutes. This means that the correct time is 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
